Protection for the controller and your back

When I purchased my DDJ-1000 I also purchased a very heavy-duty case with wheels on it. After using that case for over a year I realized that the case was taking up about 3x the space of the controller and it was also way heavier than the controller. I want to protect the controller, but it stinks having to carry so much heavy equipment around. I decided to purchase this Controller bag as an alternative solution. It does the job. I have not had any concerns with damaging my controller and it has made setup and clean-up just a tab bit faster.

Disappointing for the price

I expected more from a Pioneer branded carrying case marketed for my Pioneer controller. My biggest complaint is that there is no place for your USB cable and power cord. Currently I'm throwing those in the interior beside the controller, but it's messy and I'm afraid of opening the case and having those cords spill out and get lost. An exterior pocket would be ideal.

Second, the product does not have cutouts to fit the contours of my controller (DDJ-1000). Both sides of the interior are fully egg-crated, meaning your controller is sandwiched between the two big pads at a random place in the bag. It doesn't feel exactly premium. It also creates a bit of an awkward bulge on the exterior when the big is loaded.

The shoulder strap has unbuckled from the product twice during normal use, which is borderline disqualifying given the product's purpose. Also, the shoulder strap is barely long enough. I'm a tall guy (6'1") and I would like some extra slack to be able to let it hang lower off my body.

For a case over $, I want to see a product with a cutout that fits the exact shape of my controller, can accommodate my cords and some extra peripheries, and has an adjustable, reliable strap. Bonus points if it could accommodate a decksaver with the controller, which I like to have handy at gigs. This is not that product.
