Even before changing the strings on a new guitar, the first thing I do is swap the traditional strap buttons for the screw-in, clip lock DiMarzio strap.
They wear great, I've got one I put on in 1990 and still feels great. No fraying or unwinding of threads. They are on 100% of my guitars over the years.

This is the only guitar strap I will use on my guitars when playing live.

I have several of these straps on several guitars. I have used them for years and have never had a problem. These straps are extremely secure and will prevent your strap from coming off. If this strap is good enough for Yngwie Malmsteen and Steve Vai, it will work for you!

Exactly what I needed.

I have had this strap on my guitar for probably about 8 years give or take and it has not given me any issues of any kind once. Not much else to say other than that, my one complaint is that I like to have my guitar strapped up pretty high and the highest setting on this strap is still too low for me. I've figured out a way around this by folding the strap over itself and threading it through the adjustor. It's not a perfect solution though so I plan on buying the extra short version.
