Orange Inspiration to Go — Now in Black Vinyl

The Crush Mini feeds your Orange obsession anywhere in the world, at any time of day. This mighty 3-watter is powered by a standard 9-volt pedal power supply or 9-volt battery. So whether you're working late, warming up backstage, or jamming at home, the Orange Crush Mini is the ultimate portable solution. Simple Gain (drive), Shape (EQ), and Volume controls grow the familiar Yorkshire jangle to a raucous ruckus in seconds. Here the iconic orange vinyl is replaced by black vinyl, but the woven grille is sure to warm the hearts of Orange lovers everywhere. An onboard tuner, 1/8-inch music input, and headphone output also make the Crush Mini a formidable practice tool as well.

Unearth classic Orange tones in seconds

With simple Gain, EQ, and Volume controls, the Crush Mini makes it fast and easy to get shades of those iconic Orange sounds. There's a wide range of gain on tap for gentle crunch and full-on mayhem.

The ultimate portable practice tool

The onboard tuner and 1/8-inch aux input will have you turning to your Crush Mini for practice wherever you go. Drop in a 9-volt battery, bring along your phone and guitar, and you can jam the night away, from the beach to the bedroom.

Speaker out for stage use

An 8-ohm speaker output turns your Crush Mini into a battery-powered giggable amp head. Now you're free to let loose with all that Orange has to offer. This is one of many reasons why, for the value, it's hard to top the Orange Crush Mini amplifier from Sweetwater.

Good metal amp

It's good. Wow.

It sounds little scratchy with the built-in speaker

The built-in speaker sounds a little scratchy and a little tinny, but it isn't horrible given the price and that it's a 4-inch speaker. If you plug into a 1x12 with a decent speaker, this thing wails! It's a lot louder than you'd expect, and it breaks up quite nicely. The battery lasts pretty long, and the tone knob is far superior than the one on the Blackstar fly I had previously (It was junk). Buy this!

No long cable

I use YouTube to learn guitar techniques. I had to lay a twenty foot cable from my amp to my desktop and the AC connection. Now I use a 5 foot cable and the battery option. Very easy! The 9 volt battery lasts a very long time. If you have to practice on the go or just sit on the deck without a large amp this is the way!
Music background: I am an 84 year old between beginner and intermediate.

Mine Sounds Horrible

I purchased this little amp as a practice amp to use in my small formal living area. I didn't expect a lot from it since it is so small. But i didn't expect it to sound as bad as it does. It's almost impossible to dial in a slightly overdriven but cleaner tone. It produces a lot of static and the more overdrive i add, the worse it gets. Clean tones are almost impossible to attain without feedback.

I've watched a few YouTube review of this amp and they're all positive. But from what i hear on the videos, i'm still not impressed. Maybe it's just my particular amp. I don't know. I saw one video review taken outdoors and it sounded okay.

Unfortunately i'm passed my return window or i would return it. Maybe i'll try it out again with a different setup and different guitars. If i notice an improvement, i'll post an update.
