Rocking Electric with Fine Design and Stellar Appointments

The Schecter C-1 Apocalypse is a beautifully designed, no-nonsense rocker that puts incredible tone and playability in your hands. The C-1 features a lightweight, resonant swamp ash body finished in a stunning gloss top and semi-gloss back and sides. A pair of Apocalypse-VI humbuckers give you all kinds of classic humbucking tone, and a Hipshot Hardtail bridge provides killer sustain. The maple/padauk neck with ebony fingerboard is smooth, playable, and responsive — built for crunching power chords as well as lightning-fast leads.

Aggressive, detailed tone from Apocalypse humbuckers

The Schecter USA Apocalypse-VI Humbuckers in the C-1 Apocalypse have won over legions of players who have fallen in love with their balanced, aggressive tone. Built on a foundation of Alnico-V magnets and dual flanking Ceramic-8s, these pickups deliver killer low-end punch along with piercing treble and crunchy midrange — ideal for soaring leads and heavy power chords. And with the 3-way Pickup Selector and Master Volume Control with push/pull for coil-splitting, you get a massive array of tone-shaping possibilities. These pickups are a favorite among guitarists here at Sweetwater.

Neck designed for play

The maple/padauk neck with ebony fingerboard on the C-1 Apocalypse is cut to a classic thin “C” profile that players love for its feel and response. In addition, 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets provide killer intonation and overall tone from each and every note. And really cool Roman numeral inlays on the fingerboard look great on stage and provide a nice visual reference for neck position when playing live.

Hipshot bridge with string-thru-body design provides amazing stability

If you love the stability and ultra-fast response of a hardtail bridge, then you'll feel right at home with this C-1 Apocalypse. Schecter didn't just grab any old bridge — they gave it a Hipshot hardtail bridge for solid intonation and great sustain. Combined with its string-thru-body design, this setup gives the C-1 Apocalypse truly epic sustain.

Schecter C-1 Apocalypse Solidbody Electric Guitar Features:

  • Lightweight, resonant swamp ash body electric made for modern playing styles
  • Pair of Apocalypse-VI humbuckers gives you all kinds of classic humbucking tone
  • Slim body style and thin “C” neck provide fast action and a comfortable feel
  • Maple/padauk neck with ebony fingerboard provides wonderful response and feel
  • Hipshot hardtail bridge allows for precise intonation and great sustain
  • Set-neck design adds impressive sustain to your tone

Apocalypse c1 red reign

I love playing electric guitars can't get enough of it, I play ukulele and acoustic guitar ,drums and a bit of piano also but By far my current purchase from sweet water has been excellent, I've renewed my creativity in music playing my apocalypse almost 2 to 4 hrs a day now just having a blast w it. My advise to anyone interested in playing any instrument is fell free to express yourself fully no matter what it sounds like eventually you'll get, practice, practice, practice. I really appreciate sweet waters 50 point check on there guitar purchases. Outstanding customer service and always quality stuff I'm a customer for life. Thanks guys

Schecter C-1 Apocalypse Electric Guitar - Red Reign

I've been playing a Strat for about 100 years and my awesome Wife said I needed a hotrod. I didn't have a clue what to look for so I contacted Andy Miller. We talked for a while then I made my decision. I had the guitar for about 2 weeks and did not like it. Returning was so easy. Andy spent about 45 minutes talking guitars and music then he came to the conclusion that I should try the Schecter C-1 Apocalypse Electric Guitar. All I have to say is WOW ! The guitar is fast, loud and has a beautiful finish. I think if this guitar was made in the USA it would have costed double. I try to buy American but couldn't resist this guitar. Highly recommend this guitar and very impressed with the customer service I received! Andy Miller you rock. (Even though you like ABBA) :0) :0)

Schecter has outdone themselves.

I've been playing guiter for about 19 years. I've owned lots of expensive guitars including other Schecters and a $2000 keisel that I sold to buy this Schecter. This guitar rivals that keisel. It's perfect for me because I was looking for something light weight; (for my bum shoulder) but with ample sustain, and this thing has all that. It's also very awesome looking even more so in person than in any picture. No picture does it justice. It sounds fantastic too with the Schecter humbuckers which I was skeptical about at first because I tend to be a bit of a purist with things like pickups but these definitely rival EMGS and Seymours that I have in other guitars. I can enjoy playing everything from blues riffs to fast metal solos. Super impressed with this model.

Surprised and almost made a huge mistake

So I got this in and wow everything from the neck to hardware I was amazed. At first I started to regret the pickups so I did a comparison with my other guitars that are loaded with either emg 81/85"s or emg 81/60"s. I at first thought the schecter pickups lacked in general but realized that compared to the emgs they actually have a higher output if you"d believe it. So after adjusting the eq on my amp I have a blackstar Ht-5r to accommodate the pickups wow. Glad I did that before being a dumby and returning something due to operator malfunction. The relief also was a tad much but it"s summer and humidity is bad so not judging but with schecters in general compared to my fenders and Ibanez or even my prs"s the truss rod adjustment is always the easiest on schecters it"s very smooth on turns.

Good value

I discovered Schecters when I got a Hellraiser on a whim. It was so good that I wound up with this guitar and an Evil Twin, even though my main guitars remain traditional Gibsons and Fenders. But Schecter makes very well thought out and well designed and built guitars that, IMHO, rival some of the Japanese Ibanezes if you play that kind of stuff. The tones won't match things like my AZ2202, but I find them useful for some things. Both my Hellraiser and Evil Twin have active pickups, so I wanted one Schecter with passive pups. These are also my only 24 fret guitars, occasionally that is nice to have. I'll probably wind up keeping just one of the 3, it will be the Apocalypse or the Evil Twin, but all of these Schecters are great values, beautifully built for the price.
