Great headset

Excellent sound quality of this headset. Would prefer to have the ear pieces to cover the ears, instead of on top but this is a personal preference. Mic has great response and exactly what I expected in a top quality headset.

Too Plastic and Small

I have been broadcasting American Legion baseball games using the Audio Technica BPHS1 all season. I really wanted to find a high quality headset to keep in my office for the small amounts of pre-production I do for games. My original thought was based on my pre-conceptions of Shure from years of microphone use etc. I thought the Shure headset would fit and perform better and would go to games in my backpack. As it turns out, the part that rests on my head is flimsier than the BPHS1 (plastic not metal) and even with the ear pads extended completely out, the Shure is a small headset & barely able to fit - moreover comfortably over the crown of my head - ear to ear. I don"t trust this headset in a traveling backpack so the Shure will stay home and the Audio Technica continue to go with me to games. The sound is absolutely even with the AT BPHS1 for much less money. Live & learn. The BPHS1 is more rugged, sounds the same and fits better than the Shure.
