Mic/Line Input Card for Your Mothership
We have good news for our B16 Mothership Chassis power users: Burl Audio’s B4 4-channel mic/line input daughter card is now available at Sweetwater. The B4 rocks Burl’s state-of-the-art BX6 input transformer designed for true mic/line input impedance. The B4 features a no-compromise, Class A analog circuit, followed by the same ADC Burl uses in the BAD8. In a single B16 chassis, 40 input channels of audiophile mic/line inputs can be achieved.

Innovative converter design, outstanding audio performance
At Sweetwater, we think Burl Audio’s series of AD/DA converters sound strikingly close to an analog tape machine’s front end, with the ability to shape your tone based on how hot your signals hit the converters, as well as providing digital conversion that’s precise, rich, and detailed. Each A/D converter channel is transformer balanced, and the hotter the signal level, the more saturated the signal becomes. You’ll find you can shape your sounds the way you used to do with analog equipment, with the benefit of an ultra-precise converter to capture the tone.
