Included SSM shockmount

The shockmount's O-rings are made using a custom ethylene propylene formula that provides enormous resistance to breakage and surface nicks while remaining supple and effective in hot dry climates. This material is even immune to ozone and maintains its physical properties even after being stretched. Trust us — you'll appreciate this on your next tour! The machined insets on the barrel of the mic body allow the O-rings of the SSM shockmount to securely lock the microphone into place.
Drum rim-mounting — perfected
The SSM shockmount docks with Avantone's PK-1 Pro-Klamp (also included), which firmly clamps onto the rim of the drum, saving you from a forest of mic stands. While it's designed to withstand the rigors of live gigging, the Pro-Klamp is also adept in pro studio situations, where the main concerns of rim-mounting — vibration-induced rumble and slippage — are eliminated by three stages of rubber dampening/decoupling material. The Pro-Klamp is built with heavy-duty metal construction for reliability and years of professional use.
