909 Clap for Your Eurorack Rig
Tiptop Audio explains that the CP909 Eurorack clap module uses a quasi-random logic-based noise generator to feed a VCA, which in turn is controlled by a special triple-saw envelope generator. That sounds like a lot of effort to create a clap sound, but when the result sounds the same as the clap found on the iconic 909 drum machine, it's worth it.
