Reviews

Duragrip (Duralin) .85mm guitar pick
These picks produce a very smooth response as they strike and transition over the string surface. That particular sound is coveted, by myself at least, and I've yet to find a pick that is more apt at producing it. They do seem to have a "wear point" where the sound becomes less smooth and more raspy, but that point is well in the future. All in all, if fat, round tone is your thing, these picks produce it in voluminous amounts. Furthermore, the front to back gripping surface indented into the material itself truly helps add that little extra grip that is often needed to hold the pick in an exact position.

Addictive Pick!
I got these at the start of my guitar playing journey in 2020 (pandemic learn). At the time I was using medium tortoise shell style picks, but I decided to try these solely based on the D'Addario name. These were unfamiliar and didn't meet my expectations, so I didn't adopt them right away.
After having these for some time I gave them a try. They have a nice grip, but more importantly they produce a nice sound that has a lot less pick noise. The material has some give that goes beyond the flex and has a different feel on the strings than I expected. The sound this produces, along with the feel, is really nice and works well on acoustic or electric for me.
Decent pick, could be improved
Like the texture, but would be nice if it came down a bit further to where the Duragrip lettering is. Also doesn't have that broken in feel that my current fav picks have even when new. No real bevel on the edge and its noticeable.

Quality's dipped a little.
I ordered the medium, medium=heavy and heavy pics and, though I love the feel of the material used, the primary reason I ordered these was the killer texturing used to increase grip. I have a few mediums left from an order I placed 6 or 7 years ago and the texturing was well defined, with the bumps being quite proud. This order, all three sizes, the texturing was there but it was about half the depth/height it is on my older pics. Close inspection, it looks like it's not on purpose but more because at that stage in the pic manufacture it's just not stamping a clean pattern. I hope they fix this. At it's current quality, it's slightly better than a pick with no texturing.
