Lightweight and Stage Ready

The Gibraltar 6709 boom cymbal stand is extremely stable, thanks to its double-braced tripod base, but it's still light enough to carry without straining yourself. A gearless brake tilter gives you 360-degree positioning, while casted G-style super-lock height adjustments put your cymbal right where you want it. Nylon inserts ensure no metal-to-metal contact, which increases the life of your stand. If you're searching for a stage-ready cymbal stand that's easy to transport, you'll love the Gibraltar 6709.

Gibraltar: hardware for the most discerning drummers

From Chris Adler to the drum legend Luis Conte, Gibraltar drum hardware is a staple of the drum and percussion world. Reviews

Really nice double braced stands
These are really great stands. Especially if you're flying your rack toms off of them with tom arm clamps. Memory locks have stout wing nuts instead of having to use drum keys. Boom available too with the 6709. I've got 3 of these I use with my Sonor SQ1 kit. I heartily recommend them.
Music background: Former pro now retired and doing weekend gigging.
Near perfect cymbal stand....
Really digging these stands. The tilter is super cool and sturdy once locking in nut with drumkey. Love the memory lock system which has a wing nut rather than drumkey nut. The ONLY concern is the smaller tripod base. Before purchase, I thought the tripod would be a bit beefier but they don't have much of a footprint. Interested to see how the perform live onstage/drum riser. Other than the smaller tripod and slight lacking of desired weight, these stands are top notch in every way.
Very sturdy!
A well built cymbal stand. Love the memory locks.
