Sturdy and comfy

I have 2x of the black self locking straps and they are excellent! I've used on Les Paul guitars and 3x different PRS guitars. They are my go too. No need to change hardware, slips on and it's locked, great for taking on and off with hard cases where you can't have a strap on for transportation.

This Strap Has A Chance

I have used the DiMarzio Nylon ClipLock Guitar Strap in the past on my older guitars because I dropped one of my them once when the strap came off the hardware. At the time, I was not worried about changing out the hardware because having a locking strap was more importance than modifying my guitar. When I purchased my new PRS, I was looking for something that would not require changing out the hardware. I came across this one and thought I would give it a chance. I am very pleased with it so far since I do not need to change out the hardware on my PRS. It connected great and I used it for three worship services this past weekend with no problems. One of the other guitarist is actually looking into getting one. Just wished they came in more colors. Based on some of the other reviews, I am going to keep an eye on the plastic locking clip since plastic can sometimes break.

Hooked on Planet Waves!

I've owned so many strap locks, it truly is, not funny. I am blown away with my recent purchase of Planet Waves Auto Lock Guitar Strap! Super affordable, super easy to lock in place and unlock. It is easily the best locking system I have seen online or have owned. There truly is nothing more to say. The best!

Great Strap!

This is one of those things that you never really knew you needed until you have it. I have several guitars and some of them I installed dunlop strap locks on. There are those other guitars that I didn't waste my time or money on getting strap locks for and buying separate straps for. That was until I found this! Its like having strap locks and a really nice strap all in one package. And its cheaper! The nylon is really nice and comfortable. It almost feels like a really nice soft seat belt of sorts. I've purchased about 3 of these now and will probably get a couple more. I only wish they had some other colors!

You'd Be Surprised How Great a Strap Can Be

I beta tested these for D'Addario about 8 months ago. They sent me one and at first sight, I wasn't sure what the big deal was. But the fact that it's a sturdy, durable strap that I can quickly and easily put on and take off of any guitar I own makes it an absolutely invaluable tool. It's incredibly useful in live situations where you don't want to spend entire minutes--which can make or break your setup--fussing with a standard leather strap-end, or strap locks of varying quality. Just toss this guy over your shoulder, loop the clip over the guitar's strap button, and you're good to go. It'll hold your guitar snug while you rock out, and then it comes off again just as easily when you're ready to pack up.

Sometimes the simplest innovations are the best ones. Despite owning the one I used for testing, I'm going to buy three more of these ASAP. Love 'em.
