One cable does it all
A single Ethernet cable is all it takes to get your new 4430A speaker up and running. How? This speaker offers both audio-over-IP and power-over-Ethernet, enabling the cable to supply the speaker’s power, audio, and remote control capabilities all at once. You don’t need expensive amplifiers or racks of outboard gear to run these speakers! Plus, Ethernet cables can operate at a distance of up to 328 feet (100 meters), so you can easily cover your entire area. And even if you decide to run analog audio through the Euroblock connector, you can still enjoy comprehensive control via the Ethernet port. Comprehensive management and control
Like all other Smart IP series loudspeakers, the 4430A offers ultra-tight integration with Genelec Smart IP Manager software. It gives your installation contractors the power to configure a nearly unlimited number of rooms, zones, loudspeakers, and audio channels. It also comes with automatic device discovery, various versatile room EQ tools, system organization tools, and built-in status monitoring. And that’s just on the installation end! The Smart IP Controller application for your smartphone or tablet supplies day-to-day control. This app offers muting and volume controls alongside zone controls and an on/off switch. With Genelec Smart IP speakers, anyone can manage and control the entire network — no experience is required.
Note: Initial setup and installation of the Genelec Smart IP Manager software requires Windows 10/11. Once set up, the IP Controller App is available for iOS or Android. API drivers are also available. Please consult your Sweetwater Sales Engineer with any questions or concerns.
