This is my first review of something on sweetwater! +1 to the reviewer on this being a bit too expensive

I was looking for a rack that would fit my Mesa Strategy 8.88, rack tuner, and power conditioner, and also rolled (this rig is heavy!) and looked decent.

This was definitely the best option after a ton of research, and I've been really happy with it.

The only negative aside from price is that the inner rack, the one that holds your gear and in my case acts as my "amp head," doesn't have as nice hand grips as the outer case - it's hard plastic, and if you have a heavy rig like my Mesa Strategy, it can cut into your hands a bit.

I was looking for something that offered a bit more shock absorption than a wood flight case. I was originally going to go with a pelican case and make some sort of rack unit. But, I thought I'd give this a try. The case seems very study and the latches feel well built. It also has ATA 300 certification, MIL-STD-810G, DEF-STAN 81-41, and others.
My only critics is that it could be a tad lighter and that it's very expensive compared to a Pelican which seems backwards. Usually, I get much more value out of my money when I buy SKB.
