Eurorack Deliverance of Dual-mode Degradation
The Eurorack modular system has endured because of the freedom it affords synthesists and sound designers to craft custom, totally personal instruments, encouraging exploration and experimentation that would otherwise be too cumbersome to be worthwhile. 2HP’s dedication to building modules limited to its namesake scant sizing pushes the idea to its limits, and its Lo-Fi module delivers a dyad of sonic degradation. The Lo-Fi Eurorack module utilizes state-of-the-art emulation technologies to support two distinct modes of sonic contouring: analog and digital degradation. Moreover, the dual-operation module includes three parameters unique to each mode, each of which can be controlled independently via CV for multitudes of interoperative integration, inspiring accidents, and mangled, modular magic. From tape-inspired crackles and warmth to a deluge of digital sound-scorched distortions, synthesists at Sweetwater are enamored by the multidimensional possibilities waiting within 2HP’s Lo-Fi Eurorack module.

Two lanes of texturization, endless sonic-contouring potential
With Lo-Fi, 2HP began with the seemingly simple mission of capturing the nostalgic tones and textures of arcane audio equipment in an ode to the countless tales of happy accidents, broken gear, and the magic of discovery. To that end, 2HP gave each of its degradation-emulator modes three distinct shades of texturization, with dedicated CV control for every function. Meanwhile, the hi-fi pass-through circuit ensures your clean signal stays unaffected and exceptionally crisp at 48kHz/32-bit. In the modules Analog mode, the Wow, Hiss, and Pop parameters draw on the characteristic warmth, crackle, and flutter of tape-based saturation and compression. Flip the 2-way toggle to activate the Digital degradation circuit to conjure a deliverance of dynamic distortion, with Crush, Redux, and Distort controls invoking bit-crushed and sample-reduced digitalized mayhem. At only 2HP, the boundless sonic-sculpting possibilities of this imaginative module are raring to rip up any signal you can send to Lo-Fi’s dyadic dominion.

2HP Lo-Fi Features:
- Dual-mode module delivers two striking hues of endless texturization potential via emulated audio degradation
- Scant 2HP footprint maximizes interoperative potential without sacrificing valuable real estate in your case
- 3 mode-dependent parameters expand your range of sonic contouring with dedicated CV control for each
- Analog degradation mode channels the characteristic warmth of tape-style compression and saturation, from subtle crackles to wild warbles, wow, and flutter
- Digital degradation mode invokes a menagerie of modular mangling via bit-crushed, sample-reduced, and explosively distorted textures
- Hi-fi pass-through circuit ensures signals are reinforced and uncolored when effects are off, with 48kHz/32-bit preservation
