Great general-purpose microphone or balanced line cable
This general-purpose unterminated cable is a great option if you need a shorter length of bulk microphone or balanced line cable and don't necessarily want to buy a huge roll of like 500 or 1000 feet. The cable has a good balance of flexibility and stiffness without being too far one way or the other. It's got a spiral shield, but the coverage is excellent, and I personally find working spiral shielding to be much easier than braided shielding. At 24 AWG each, the two center conductors are thick enough that they should provide reasonable durability with normal use. I will note, however, that in the pictues for this listing, it shows a few strands of burlap twine in the center along with the two conductors. With the cable I received, there is no burlap twine--only the spiral shield with the red and blue conductors inside, so maybe the construction has changed over time. I also like that the cable is pure copper as opposed to CCA (copper clad aluminum) and that it's made in the USA!
