Very Unique

Love this cymbal! Pro sound coming out of this thing. Crash is well balanced, bell is honestly exceptional.

I got the 18", and it is higher pitch than I anticipated. It is Higher pitch than the 18" AAX freq crash sitting next to it.

Totally happy with this purchase


It's crazy how floppy the edges are and how thick the interior is.

So Stinkin' Versatile!

Truly a three-in-one cymbal! The bell, the inner bow, and the outer bow, all have their own unique sound. If you have a compact set up, like a cocktail set up, this would be a must, especially in 18". The crash, the outer bow, is incredibly full and loud. I have an AAX Dry Bell, 21", but I would also love to switch out for the 22" Omni. With all that said oh, you have to be much more articulate with your striking. No willy-nilly hits on these guys.

Unique sound, good accent crash

I was in need of a dual-purpose cymbal: Small enough to work as a ride w/ my club kit, versatile enough to cut thru as a crash w/ the 'rock kit.' This does that . . . sort of.

The sound is a bit trashy, which works great as an accent cymbal. Cuts thru bright and makes an impression. The bell sounds beautiful too. You've really got an interesting thing going, with its Fast Crash-ability outer and dry inner.

Not good as a standalone ride, though. More ping-y, tin-y. I'd suggest the larger size to get the full spectrum of the Omni. For the 18" you get a splash/trash combo with a great bell. Didn't quite expect it, but it's a welcome addition to some of the rock & funk tunes.
