The perfect addition to your amp

The Marshall 1936 guitar cab is a wonderful addition to your rig when all you need is another pair of 12" speakers! While fully able to handle a full-sized head, the Marshall 1936 can also be used to extend the sound of a Marshall combo amp. Due to its size and mobility, it's seen in clubs, practice halls, and mid-sized tours everywhere. When you need that Marshall sound but don't need a 4 x 12" cab, the Marshall 1936 guitar speaker cabinet is perfect!

Sonically Superior

Marshall is the only choice for serious musicians. Nothing compares to Marshall cabinets in terms of awesome tone and projection. Both visually and aurally, Marshall 4 x 12" (and, in this case, 2 x 12") cabs are indeed rock 'n' roll history in a stack!

Rugged and ready for the road

Roadworthiness is a vital prerequisite in the world of relentless touring. As Marshall's 40 years of cabinet building attest, Marshall cabinets are definitely built to stand the test of time! Their highly skilled craftsmen construct these cabinets from the finest materials available - finger-jointed plywood, cotton-backed PVC covering, heavy-duty hardware, and the highest quality fittings.

Marshall 1936 2 x 12" Guitar Speaker Cabinet Features:
  • 150-watt, 2 x 12" base cabinet
  • Celestion G12T-75W speaker
  • Selectable mono (8 ohms) or stereo (16 ohms) operation

Marshall 1936 212 Cabinet

I use this Cabinet with my Bogner Shiva 20th Anniversary and sound very powerful I haven't try in volume 10 yet is very loud and the cabinet shows they can handle the power
I'm very happy!

Marshall 1936 2x12

I feel this is a much better choice than the EVH 2x12 because this cabinet has much higher quality speakers in it that can also handle a 100 watt head! The tone and power are a standard in my book and are exactly what I expect! Worth every penny!!!!

Beyond Great

I had purchased this cabinet around a year ago to use with my Peavey 6505+ and it is far better than I expected. It defines that Peavey growl.

Sweetest Sounding 2x12 I've Ever Heard!

I expected this cabinet to sound good, but it greatly exceeded my expectations. The sound is THICK - full and rich. Built like the proverbial brick $#!^ house, one gets the sense that it would remain unscathed if it was run over by a semi! I initially balked at purchasing the 1936, questioning whether or not I should opt for the 1960. In retrospect, I'm glad I got the 1936. Sounds fantastic and is much easier to carry. I use a Marshall JVM205H to drive this cabinet and the cabinet is capable of super cleans and nasty crunch.

MARSHALL 1936

I really like the deep sounds and tones from this cabinet..
Its not as big as a full 4 speaker cabinet.. but the 2-12's sure put out some nice sounds...

Was really worth waiting for... just wish Marshall would put the wheel kit in with the package....
Music background: VERY VAST............. AND GROWING

There are countless "British"-style guitar amplifiers out there, but take it from the lifelong guitarists and tone connoisseurs at Sweetwater, when it comes to Marshall tone, there's nothing like the real thing. We've played them all, from vintage JTM45s and the ultra-cool Plexi reissue to modern handmade masterpieces such as the JVM410. There isn't a model among them we can't recommend with total confidence, and that includes their more affordable models too, like MG, DSL, and Code series amps. Thanks to our tight relationship with Marshall, Sweetwater's always on the cutting edge of their latest designs, custom models, and limited-edition gems. If you want iconic tone from across the pond, you want Marshall, and your Sweetwater Sales Engineer will help you find the perfect one.
