OEM String Trees for Your American Fender

For repair, replacement, or restoration, there is no substitute for OEM parts. This is a set of genuine Fender string guides (mounting hardware included) for use on American, American Standard, American Special, and American Deluxe guitar models. The Fender string guide (or string tree) optimizes string tension and helps minimize tuning problems — which, as Sweetwater guitarists know, makes playing a lot more fun.

Fender American Standard String Guides Features:

  • Set of 2 string guides for use with the 1st–4th strings on your American Fender
  • Dedicated mounting hardware included for optimal fit and performance
  • Engineered for American, American Standard, American Special, and American Deluxe Fender guitars
  • OEM part — no fear of poor build quality or incompatibility

Good trees
Put these on my son's Squier Strat. Needed to drill shallow holes for locator pins, otherwise an easy install.
Music background: Lifetime hobbyist guitar plinker. Dayjob required.
Much Better Than The Picture Implies
The photo displayed here makes these look like they are very poor quality, but they're actually very nice. I put them on two brand new necks and they look great. If you have ever tried a Fender neck without string guides then you'll be amazed at how much better your guitar sounds once you put them on. That's why most Fender guitars come with them, but when you buy a Fender neck by itself (which I did to replace the necks on a couple Squiers) then they don't have any string guides and you'll want to get these. They look much better than the photos and also much better than the guides Fender puts on most of their guitars. I think you'll be glad you got these.
Perfect
Work and look great!
Fender String Guides
If you you have a MIM or Squire Strat or Tele, these are a great little upgrade. The stamped steel one that came on my MIM Stratocaster had such a deep bend that it nearly touched the headstock and had to be loosened to get the E and B strings in for a string change. Break over angle at nut was severe enough to cause occasional binding. The screw hole had to be enlarged slightly and a smaller dimple hole made for the locator pin on the new one. Easy! No more problems and smooth operation!
Music background: Better guitar tech than player. LOL

All you need to do is to look at the quality of the pristine chome plating on almost all the replacement
parts from Genuine Fender products. Unbeknownst to the powers that be at Fender they could get
more $$ by doing less quality control and repackaged as Vintage Aged replacement parts. Ouch gotta
go pick a piece of flaked chrome out of my finger..
