Genuine Fender American/American Standard Strat Tremolo

For repair, replacement, or restoration, there is no substitute for OEM parts. This is a genuine Fender tremolo arm with two rubberized tips (white/aged), custom-designed for use on most American and American Standard series Stratocaster models manufactured from 1986–present. It features a bright, great-looking and durable chrome finish that is easy to clean and will match the chrome on your guitar. Reviews

Fender tremolo arm
The product seems to be of decent quality and does fit the 10-32 threading, but for a product described as Genuine Fender replacement OEM equipment, it was kind of a bummer to read "Made in China" on the back of the package. So if you have a Made in USA Stratocaster and want to keep it all USA made, I guess you'll have to spend a lot more.
Strange Problems For Something So Simple
I have an American Standard from the 90s and an SRV signature model. I recently bought a new American Standard (2024) that somehow didn't make it home with a tremolo arm - asked the dealer to send me a new one, must've go lost in the mail. Anyway, decided to just buy a new arm. As the description states, Fender American Standard Stratocaster Tremolo Arm. It fits in the tremolo body on all three of my guitars. No doubt that it has the right threads on that end HOWEVER, the tips don't fit. They start to thread on and just come off with the slightest tug. Frustratedly, I ordered new tips. Same problem. Weirdly, I was comparing the new one to my old ones and found that curves are all different. It doesn't match my old AmStd or my SRV at all. WOW. It's also not chrome. Looks more like nickel. I feel like Fender has dropped the ball. I'm not going to bother with returns, even though I know Sweetwater would take care of me, but I am left trying to figure this one out. Sometimes it's the simple stuff that drives you nuts.
