Perfect!
Beautiful as expected and perfect customer service as always from my friends at Sweetwater! Especially Mr. Andrew Williams! Even though he didn't have anything to do with this product order he did however help me make an informed decision on another project. I expect nothing less than the best from these guys!

I gave the tortoiseshell guard a 1 star review. This one...
This one is a-okay. No issues. Being a Fender guard, it's a proper fit. Screw holes align as they should.
I needed a replacement for a seriously yellowed (and not in a pretty patina way, more like a filthy cigarette smokey grimy gunky way) guard for a 96 Strat I recently acquired.
These are shielded on the back, unlike the original 96 guard was.

If you've got an older MIM Strat, the bridge cut-out will need cut back to fit unless you have a "deluxe" Strat, like a Tex Mex or something. Just something to be wary of. Otherwise it's exactly what it says it is, which is enough for me.

Fender Pick Guards Rock!
If you ever need a new pick guard buy a genuine Fender replacement. It will fit perfectly. Not like the after market ones that are out there where the screw holes are a fraction of an inch off or the neck cut out is too big or too small. I've tried just about all the aftermarket pick guards and have been disappointed nearly every time. Spend the extra money and buy a genuine Fender replacement. Trust me you will not be disappointed.
