Nicer than expected!

Very happy with this guitar! Great customer service from Sweetwater, great packaging and quick shipping.

The guitar lessons pls nicer than the picture online. Very nice satin finish, slightly more color on the top and just looks very nice all around.

I bought this as a portable instrument to practice renaissance lute music with, and it works great. Stock strings sound great tuned g to g. If you want e tuning you will probably want to get fractional guitar strings. Out of the box it was tuned to e, and the tension was pretty low.

Some minor fret roughness on the edge of the neck, but I only noticed when trying to find it. Don't notice at all when playing.

The 45 mm nut makes this play more like an acoustic or electric guitar, as opposed to a classical.

I have owned Guitaleles and a Cordoba Mini in the past, and prefer this guitar to either.

I am 5'8" with small hands, and this works well for me. Less room than on a classical, but chord shapes are easier. As I am starting to play acoustic and electric more than classical, this is a good choice for me.

I love this guitar! Better than I was expecting!

With good tension on the strings, this guitar has a nice sound, moderate sustain, and is convenient to pick up and play at odd moments. Easy to take along in the car too. For about $... more than a Lucida 1/2 size I once owned, the finish on this Cordoba is far superior, and the sound is better too.

Wow, what a difference a good set of strings properly installed make!!!

I purchased one of these three months ago. It took a while for the strings to settle in and for the instrument itself to get adjusted to my home i.e., humidity whatever. It still sounded sloppy at times and sometimes better but I still wasn't happy with it. I purchased a set of D'addario EJ45 strings for it. When they manufacture it they do a quick install of the strings, one loop around the bridge! Now that it has a good set of strings properly anchored to the bridge, WOW WHAT A DIFFERENCE, I AM DEFINITELY A HAPPY CAMPER NOW!!!!!

sounds terrible no matter what you do.

I bought this as a travel guitar. It sounds terrible. The intonation is awful. Basic sound quality can be described as "TINNY" I have tried 3 different sets of quality strings, and have filed the nut and adjusted the neck,AND lowered the saddle! It still sounds like a cheap TOY guiter.
I have a 1/2 size Yamaha, and it plays and sounds like a DREAM. I only hope I can unload this thing somehow. I really HATE this guitar.
I had a cordoba tenor uke, and had the same problems. I don't know WHY I decided
to try another Cordoba product!? HATE 'EM!

Attractive Deal! yet, Poor Intonation.

The guitar is made very soundly for the money. It appealed to me as an ideal option for my very young son. Great price for what seems to be a good starter instrument. I wanted to find a small guitar, with musical quality, that was not a toy.

Yet, it is unplayable as delivered.

I too have experienced major intonation problems. I have never played a guitar that sounded so poorly intonated! The G string is very troublesome indeed. I am currently researching ways to correct for the problem, but I don't have a lot of hope. Different gauge strings? Pay a guitar tech at a local shop to install a compensated bridge? It will likely cost more to fix the guitar than it cost to buy it.

Perhaps some sound ok? Not worth taking a chance, unless the staff at sweetwater is willing to ensure you are buying a guitar without intonation issue.

boo

major intonation problems. don't bother with this guitar if you want a musical instrument. it is a toy. No regard for musical quality. The g string is especially troublesome.
