A T-Rex Classic Makes Its Triumphant Return

The T-Rex Replica Stereo Delay Pedal takes everything that makes the original Replica so special and optimizes it for today's pedalboard layouts. Though the sound and simple-to-use layout of the original remains largely the same, Sweetwater guitarists were happy to find a Vintage/Modern switch onboard for additional delay flavors, alongside a 3-position Note Divider toggling between quarter, triplet, and dotted-eighth subdivisions. Stereo I/O options make it easy to integrate the Replica Stereo into any rig imaginable, made even better with MIDI compatibility for extended functionality. Round it out with a tap tempo switch for complete control over your repeats, and the T-Rex Replica Stereo Delay is more than equipped for any gig in its path.

Vintage and modern delay sounds in one

With its handy Vintage/Modern switch, the Replica Stereo combines the best of classic and contemporary delay sounds into one impressive pedal. The Vintage position delivers an identical sound to the original Replica, with each repeat passing through a compressor/expander circuit for a smoother, dynamic sound. Flip over to the Modern position and you'll be met with a cleaner, more transparent sound, much like today's best digital delays.

T-Rex Replica Stereo Delay Pedal Features:

  • T-Rex's lauded Replica delay pedal optimized for today's players
  • Simple layout makes it easy to get going right out of the box
  • Hi-Cut and Input Gain dials tweak tone to taste
  • 3-position Note Divider switch goes between quarter, triplet, and dotted-eighth subdivisions
  • 2 unique modes to explore: Vintage position passes repeats through a compressor/expander circuit for a smoother sound; Modern position delivers cleaner and open repeats
  • Tap tempo switch makes it easy to control and alter tempo on the fly
  • Stereo I/O and MIDI options ensure compatibility with today's rigs

Most under rated deals

Hard to believe there are no reviews for this pedal. I had one of the originals years ago and can't remember why I got rid of it, but I've done that allot. I really liked it, so when this one came out with updates, i.e. stereo, 9V, etc., I jumped on it. I've been through a few delays since buying this one, the latest being a Maxon AD999. I've wanted to try it forever and it's a great pedal, but I missed not having tap tempo and didn't like what it did to my base tone. So after giving it a run for a couple of months I went back to the Replica and realized I already have exactly what I want. Don't know why I keep looking, but I'm sure allot of you understand. I don't have a single negative thing to say about this pedal. When bypassed it's very neutral, and when engaged it has the nicest tone. Just beautiful. If you're looking for a really good dealy and don't need presets, midi, etc., this one's killer. BTW, this is my first review and I've been buying from SW for many years. Just didn't seem right this pedal not getting some props.
