My Go-To

The only patch cable I'll use. Love the clarity of sound and the ability to fit into tight spaces. I've got over 50 of these of varying lengths, and I've had maybe two or three short out on me after several years of hard use.

Solidly built cable

This is a solidly built cable to patch between guitar pedals. I'm really glad I purchased this because it sounds great. I think it's important to have good cables when recording one's masterpiece, and these are acceptable. Since I'm not a guitar player but instead run distortion pedals on my synthesizers, I didn't want to mess with a long cable when my pedals usually sit on my desk.

George L's 12"

May have added clarity to my tone. Cable is excellent build quality. I would definitely recommend.

Had to try

I bought one of these and it began "cutting out" after a few hours... Also, very stiff and only wants to be plugged in one way. It was from a Gift Card so I didn't feel like bothering Sweetwater for a refund. I won't buy these cables again.

Same old George L's shorting out problem

A few years back, I was using George L's cables on my pedal board. Over time, they started developing intermittent problems, shorting out/volume drops, etc. I got rid of them and moved on. Now, I've assembled a new board, and there were a couple of spots where the GL's were sort of required due to tight spacing. So I thought I'd try a pair of pre-assembled ones. Turns out they were bad right out of the package. After much trouble shooting, cleaning jacks on my pedals, bypassing things, etc. I tried removing the GL's cables. Problem solved.
Music background: Progressive rock musican. Bass, vox, synths, guitars.
