Moog's Legendary Moogerfooger Lowpass Filter
Designed by Bob Moog in the late '90s, the original Moog MF-101 Lowpass Filter was part of the company's Moogerfooger series of analog effects pedals. The MF-101S is a meticulous digital re-creation of this legendary stompbox. At the heart of the MF-101S is a classic 4-pole lowpass filter, which is paired with an envelope follower to thicken, funkify, and distort the filtered sound. This plug-in sounds amazing on any source — guitars, vocals, non-modular synths, you name it — enabling you to add old-school filter effects to your tracks. To top it off, this digital reinvention includes features that weren't present on the original unit. With the Moog MF-101S in your plug-in folder, you'll be able to fortify your sonic arsenal with one of the best-sounding, most playable filters ever devised.

Beyond mere re-creations
While Moog's primary goal in creating Moogerfooger Effects Plug-ins was to replicate the lush, distinctive sounds of the original hardware, they didn't stop there. These plug-ins include stereo functionality, plus other added features that weren't present on the original units. All parameters can be automated within your DAW, and you can save and manage presets. There are countless Moogerfooger aficionados here at Sweetwater, and we're stoked that we can finally use these one-of-a-kind effects in our DAW sessions.

More than the sum of their parts
The original Moogerfooger units were more than the sum of their parts, thanks to their flexible control voltage I/O. Indeed, old-school Moogerfooger users were able to combine these stompboxes into a dynamic system of interrelated effects. Moogerfooger Effects Plug-ins emulate the original hardware's CV interconnectivity, enabling each plug-in instance to modulate the parameters of any other Moogerfooger instance across your DAW session. You also get digital attenuverters for every CV input, sidechain capabilities, and DC offsets, arming you with ultra-deep control over every element of your sound.
