Works and sounds fantastic!

I did a lot of homework watching videos, reading specs and reviews of all of the latest offerings and finally narrowed it down to the Arturia Audiofuse rev2 14X14.

I downsized from 2- 16 channel Presonus Studiolive consoles that are the firewire versions.

They served me well but I just wanted to go with something more portable without losing any quality.

Let me tell you I can hear the difference in quality and it is amazing! I just love this thing!!

I am using it with an old Digimax LT to give me 8 more inputs and it works flawlessly.

The latency is way better than the old system and I don't notice it at all. The talkback feature works great and I love the mix from direct to computer!

I can't say enough good things about this interface and I am so glad I chose it!

I almost forgot to mention the build quality. Being built from a solid block of aluminum and having quality components it really stands out from the competition. It is literally beautiful.

B and H as always were great and got it to me super fast.

Thank you B and H and Arturia for a superior product!!!

Nothing comes close

Best interface ever. If you can't find on unit it's not been made. Arturia thought of everything, great job folks.
Music background: long time with any genre except Scat, lol.

More or less perfect

What I was looking for in an interface:
-Something light and portable.
-maximum I/O for the size.
-2 seperate headphone outputs with independent volumes
-a second set of inputs/outputs for hardware inserts
-multi-platform (works on both windows and mac)
-well made
-great drivers

The only other unit that was really close to what I was looking for was the Focusrite 18i8.... I own two Focusrite Pro 40's and both have developed lots of weird issues over the years (sometimes inputs won't work, headphone outputs won't work) The driver support is bad etc.... I'm disappointed with the life span of those units considering how much I paid for them at the time, so I wasn't eager to go spend more money with Focusrite. I'm so glad I spent the extra couple hundred to get the audiofuse.

The Audiofuse does all the stuff I was looking for and more. The Windows drivers are the best I have experienced on any audio interface.... Rock solid! Mac drivers are great also (but that's less uncommon), everything is really well made and the software is awesome.

Unexpected bonuses:
- The digital output volume control is awesome. Since you can attach a second set of monitors this is an awesome monitor controller too.
- The unit even works plug and play with IOS devices.
- Came with some free Arturia plugins
- Everything is knob per function
- While it wasn't unexpected, having the USB hub on the back wasn't something I "bought" the unit for, but I've already used them a bunch.

Slight concerns:
- a few functions can only be enabled by the control software, it would be nice to be able to enable "reamp mode" on the unit itself, but not a big deal
- unit runs pretty hot. This is supposed to be a normal thing with this unit, but it's a little intense.
- the unit does have a proprietary USB cable which is maybe, but I actually find the quality of the cable to be so good I don't care. It works perfectly on my old mac book with sorta fiddely USB ports. It's snug and fits properly.

Anyway
Hopefully this unit is as well made as it seems and will last a while, as it is now I'm really impressed with it

A very special interface that deserves more care from Arturia

The Audiofuse is an interface with very unique features. Arturia did a great job selecting so many things to be part of this small and very portable interface. Unfortunately, it feels like Arturia is not paying attention to keep improving this product. I've been waiting for a USB-C v3 for years but it feels like they've abandoned this Audiofuse.

don't waste your money

cuts out all the time. you need to do factory reset to get it going again. wish I never purchased it. save for money and get an Apollo. I've owned Apollo for years...no problems. But don't buy a volt either...more garbage. you get what you pay for.
