Takamine GC1 Nat, nylon string guitar

New to nylon string guitar. It arrived in perfect shape and sounds great to my ears! The nylon strings are easier on my fingertips as they toughen up, making practice time more enjoyable than with my Yamaha steel string acoustic. Sweetwater is a great company!
Music background: Just learning at 72!

Great Guitar

I've been playing guitar for about 10 years and this is my first Nylon String. If you're looking for a first guitar to start learning on then this is the one. I wish I started on this guy, because it's super easy to play and sounds fantastic. Highly recommend!
Music background: Piano as a kid, Concert Band & saxophone in high school. Rock bands in college

Excellent Guitar

First foray into classical guitars. I have played primarily electric guitar for about 14 years. After buying this guitar, I wish i would have tried classical guitar sooner. The neck is "D" shaped, rather flat throught the length, chords are pretty easy to grab with the wider string spacing, and playing classical guitar really builds hand strength up.

Excellent affordable classical guitar

This is my first classical guitar, and it's a wonderful little guitar for the price. It is easy to play and sounds great. Highly recommended if you're looking for an "entry-level" classical guitar to begin your musical journey.

Terrific Sound

This was my first serious nylon acoustic, what I learned on. The sound is rich, full, and resonant. It sounded better, to my ear, than entry-level Yamaha. The "Tak" is built to perfection with quality woods, well balanced, easy to play, and it is a joy to look at. I don't think you could do better for the price. I recommend learning on a guitar that lets you hear every overtone and requires good technique. That made it easier for me to switch to electric. After three years, I have my eye on the Tak GC5CE.
