Reverend's Dub King combines the effortless playability of a short-scale bass with premium tonewoods to deliver a formidable 4-string worthy of the world's biggest stages. To ensure the Dub King is more than capable of standing up to constant use as well as those pesky humidity changes while out on the road, Reverend constructed its 5-piece neck using korina and walnut — warps, bends, and twists are a thing of the past with this bass in your stable. Sweetwater's low-end warriors couldn't get enough of the Dub King's smooth-as-glass rosewood fingerboard, which offers enhanced resistance to extreme temperatures along with classic looks and feel.

Rather than rely on third-party pickups to get the job done, Reverend crafted its own for the Dub King. With a Thick Brick in the bridge and a Split Brick in the neck, powerful bass tones are easily achieved. Though possessing the higher output and strength of an active pickup, the Thick Brick humbucker delivers a much more natural, open sound with prominent mids. The Split Brick in the neck pairs perfectly with the Thick Brick, akin to a vintage P-style pickup with exceptional clarity.
