The Yamaha GNS-MS01 Speaker System is well matched to the high quality of the Genos sound technology. It accurately produces the full spectrum of frequency content within the layers of the Genos sound generators. I was surprised to discover nuances of Genos voices that were not coming through in my previous studio monitors.

The speakers connect easily to the Genos. The satellite left and right speakers rigidly attach to the body of the Genos, independent of the angular orientation of the keyboard. My Genos sits at a steep angle on the top level of a multi-tier keyboard stand.

It you bought a Genos this is a must have if you don't want to turn on all of the PA, and just want to jam out for a while. They sound great and look good and fit perfect. My only gripe about this system is.... Why did Yamaha decide to use a DIN cord to connect the Genos to the subwoofer. DIN cords are a pain in the butt to figure out to line up on the socket on which it plugs in. I believe I may have bent one of the pins pluging it in for the first time. Once a pin is bent it won't line up.
Other than the DIN cord this is an awesome system, The cost is a drop in the bucket compared to how much the Genos cost.

The MSO1 system works great. It seems that Yamaha should have built this into the machine to start with for the price of Genos but the sound is great. To have a built-in monitor is perfect. I, also, have a Tyros with the sound system and it is great also.

Fantastic engineering and compatibility to the GENOS. They look good and are a sleek and modern design. It's quick and easy to attach them to the Genos. Sounds are crisp and the Sub-Woofer adds the right amount of low end at low volumes up to 80% volume. I think these speakers are priced correctly for "home" use or in a small venue. They will not work for a live performance as a standalone sound system in a larger venue. Playing at 90% volume with styles running and three voices running, I was getting distortion from the L/R mains (not the Sub). These are great for the intended use. If you need more volume, Genos has you covered with multiple Outputs to use with their line of powered Speakers/Monitors. Bottom line, I'd purchase them again if they needed replacement for the convivence factor, for they're acoustic sound quality match to the Genos and for they're intended use of "home" amplification.

Got this recently for my Genos. After tweaking EQ and Compression, I got a pretty decent sound.
