An Ideal Compact PA for Small-to-midsized Venues

Whether you're a public speaker, singer-songwriter, or in a band; the Yamaha StagePas 600BT is your all-in-one PA solution for pristine sound in small-to-midsized venues. The StagePas 600BT offers extensive connectivity. Equipped with Bluetooth wireless audio connectivity, the 600BT can stream audio to your StagePas system from any Bluetooth-paired device such as a smartphone, tablet, or laptop up to 33 feet away. The StagePas 600BT offers 3-band EQ on each channel. Four mic/line inputs feature XLR jacks, with phantom power on channels 1–2 and 1/4" XLR combo inputs on channels 3–4; channel 4 is switchable to hi-Z for instruments with passive pickups. In addition, there are three stereo line input channels switchable for mono operation, plus support for RCA and 1/8" stereo mini inputs. Monitor and subwoofer outputs on the 600BT provide easy expandability. For shows that require a monitor mix or extended low end, simply connect powered speakers such as Yamaha’s DXR Series full-range speakers or DXS Series subwoofers.

Bluetooth connectivity for setup flexibility

At Sweetwater, we've found the StagePas 600BT's Bluetooth connectivity handy for effortlessly incorporating backing tracks, loops, intermission music, or even software instruments into your live performance setup without a cable — while placing the device for maximum access/safety. Audio is routed to channels 9/10 on the StagePas 600BT's mixer. Couldn't be simpler!

Lightweight and portable

The StagePas 600BT consists of two lightweight speakers and a detachable powered mixer, a pair of speaker cables, and a power cable, for a complete portable sound reinforcement solution that you can set up easily in virtually any environment. The mixer also fits into one of the speaker enclosures, making for easy transport and a smaller footprint while in use.

Excellent sound quality without hassles

Advanced Yamaha technologies help the StagePas achieve excellent professional sound quality without hassles. Built-in feedback suppression targets problem frequencies before they become audible. With one-knob control, Yamaha Master EQ optimizes audio to match its environment. Channels 1 through 4 are equipped with independent sends for the four studio-grade reverb types (Hall, Plate, Room, and Echo), which are derived from Yamaha's acclaimed SPX series effects processors. You can also turn Reverb on and off via an optional footswitch — perfect for when an event host is speaking between songs.

Intelligent power management

With the StagePas 600BT delivering 680 watts of power, you are sure to be heard clearly throughout small-to-midsized venues. Intelligent DSP and advanced limiting protect the system and ensure the most efficient power usage. What's more, custom designed waveguides help the StagePas achieve broad sound distribution for maximum coverage.

Because You Don't Always Need To bring Out The BIG GUNS!
I'd been using two QSC CP-12 powered speakers with a mixer for town press conferences for a couple of years. They sounded great, but getting power to each speaker AND the mixer in a hurry each time was a pain in the butt, especially when on-location. The Town Supervisor held a conference in a busy, loud railroad station and the only power source I had was a small 2200w Honda generator with just two outlets, so I decided to give the StagePas600BT a shot. Not only did it get me through the event, but, to me, it sounded as good as my QSC system. Plenty of power at less-than-half volume, a breeze to set up and break down, and the feedback suppressor (which I had always assumed was just hype) did a fantastic job the several times I had to crank up the level to compete with a passing train.

If you purchase this, I suggest investing in heavier-duty speaker cables, including a 3 or 6-footer to connect the mixer to the speaker it's physically attached to. You will thank me for this, as there will be times when you want to leave the mixer attached and there's no need to roll out a 50-footer.

I have only experimented with the BlueTooth, as I am an old-school "wired" guy, but it worked just fine when I tested it.

I guess the BIG test is going to be seeing how long this system lasts and performs as it has so far. Nothing is 100% trustworthy anymore, so I ALWAYS carry a spare. I am hoping my StagePas600BT is around for a long time, though!

Great Portable System
Can't say enough good things about this system. It's portable (even more so if you buy two of the rolling cases for it), sounds great, and has enough power for medium size outdoor gigs. Plenty of inputs to allow for various instrumentations -> the limit on mic inputs forces you to get creative sometimes depending on your rig, but I have never had a problem. Bluetooth functionality is a great plus, and the reverb sounds great.
Little Powerhouse!
Love this little Yamaha system. Plenty of power for our small church. Would definitely recommend!
Hope Yamaha NEVER discontinues this model
Have owned/used the Yamaha Stagpas600bt for approx 4 yrs gigging hundreds of small to med/large venues for our trio of 2 guitars ,vocals & drummer. This unit never disappoints. Nice bass and reverb/effects,light weight, very easy to set up / tear down, blue tooth pares great. Honestly like this model over the column type portable PA's as it has more in/outputs than just one for guitar, one for mic. Fits nicely in a Subaru Forester loaded with couple guitars,Mandolin, Fiddle, mic stands , speaker poles, music stand, bag of accessories and monitor(s). Speakers sound very good and unit in general is very well made. Honestly no con's from me. Highly recommend.

Plenty of sound
We purchased this unit for our new half gymnasium worship center and there is plenty of sound for a PA system. We have not put any instruments on it but the blue tooth works very smooth.
