The Orbit-Triad system solved a huge problem for me regarding real estate in my home studio. What you're seeing in the photos are the Roland TR-8S Drum Machine and Arturia MicroFreak being mounted directly to the Chasis of the MatrixBrute synthesizer with a couple Orbit-Triad parts.

Works well for ergonomics and doesn't interfere with anything else. I use those two modules sparingly and don't dive too deep into them, so programming is not an issue for me.

Solid construction. People, you get what you pay for. I have no fear at all that this setup will come crashing down. It's probably more solid than my stucco house is.

Although I seldom use I believe this product is a great item and really hold your stuff .

I purchased a lot of the company's products already and have been using them for years already with my kids each week singing in Churches and I've been very satisfied with everything. I couldn't care less of the price because they are all worth it however I have one suggestion. It will also be great if you can convert this Platform into a music platform where musicians or singer like me most often still use paper music sheets . Perhaps you can add an accessory to this platform that can be used as a stopper for whatever music sheet is on top and prevent it from sliding down . Thank you.

Of all the laptop/accessory trays I've looked at, this is probably the only one that combines a lot of ideas into one, interchangeable platform.

- Removable / reversible lip that adds extra security when positioning the platform from horizontal to vertical positions; I removed it and turned it around to move my laptop a few notches up from the bottom edge of the platform, giving it a solid bottom end
- Dual-directional threading / multiple grid positions that allow moving the retention bolts to either side in a "plethora" of configurations; I've secured my laptop's power supply to the bottom of the tray using the elastic bands in a cross fashion
- Option to mount directly to a mic stand or use the Orbit adapter for greater versatility
- Solid construction, NO wobble at all using the Orbit system to attach to a standard mic stand (using two other Triad-Orbit add-ons, the IO-C Clamp and Orbital boom arm)

I knocked off a half star for not including more of the bolts used to secure the laptop or other device (kit includes 2 long bolts and 2 short bolts); I don't know if you can buy just the bolts as an accessory to this kit, but having more of the long bolts to secure larger laptops at 4 points rather than just 2 would provide more security and reduce the amount of pressure required using only 2 points of contact. My old Dell laptop has the extended battery that sticks out the back of the laptop, and it would be nice to have been able to put at least one more point of contact there for added peace of mind.

Versatile laptop / accessory platform - excellent product, excellent design / build, high-end price reflective of quality product that is well-worth the investment
