A No-frills, 3-slot 500 Series Chassis

The Lindell Audio 503 POWER is a no-frills, 3-slot 500 Series chassis. It features 800mA of power per slot — enough juice for your digital and tube-driven modules. Onboard 48-volt phantom power accommodates your condenser microphones. Overload/short circuit protection safeguards your gear against damage, while power rail LED indication makes troubleshooting a piece of cake. And you can be assured to have rock-solid connections with its gold-plated XLR jacks. The engineers here at Sweetwater appreciate that they can take the 503 POWER anywhere, thanks to its no-noise universal power supply. The 503 POWER is housed in a lightweight aluminum cabinet and includes a neoprene gig bag for easy transport.

Does The Job!

Amazing unit! I've got a Stam SA4000MKII and Lindell PEX-500 loaded and they work great! no power issues or noises from the chassis at all. I will say the reviews mentioning the slots being tight....they are NOT kidding! These slots take some serious force to get a piece in and seated. (Good luck trying to get it back out...I tried changing some units around and felt like I may rip the face plate off my bus comp trying to remove it from the chassis) The travel bag comes in handy when moving from room to room!

Well priced piece of kit

No hiss, no audible sound of its own. This device gives you a decent way to power your 500 series hardware. The socket is a tight fit for the Harrison 32, but with a gentle push it works like a charm. Able to handle whatever you throw at it and all without breaking the bank.

Nice design, tight connectors

As advertised this is a no frills compact chassis perfect for say, a touring lead vocalist who wants to take their tone from gig to gig with a nice pre and some processing. That's how I set this one up.

The neoprene bag is nice.

1 star removed for the female card edge connectors being the tightest I've ever come across. Having to apply such force to insert thousand dollar modules made me a bit uneasy.

This chassis deserves a review…

Ok, so mine gave up after the second use. It's made in china and for some reason, my gut told me to look the other way. Unfortunately, I couldn't track and experiment but luckily, SW team helped me out and sent me a Radial unit. Don't waste your time = $!
