The Secret Ingredient in Jen's Solos

Skillet's Jen Ledger likes to throw her weight around onstage - literally! That's why the Vic Firth Signature Jen Ledger drumsticks offer tons of power without the resistance of a big, heavy stick. Slightly thinner and longer than 5Bs, the Jen Ledgers are made from select hickory for durability and are built for impact. The longer length provides a better reach for cymbals and a heavier hit when you choke back. And their medium tapers provide balance in the middle of the stick, making them respond more like an extension of the body. Sweetwater drummers appreciated the Vic Firth Jen Ledger sticks' modified teardrop tips, which sound smooth on cymbals and defined on drums. Not to mention Jen's cheerful custom artwork.

Reviews

These are awesome
I bought a pair of these when we went to a skillet concert I had the option to buy a pair that had been used live in concert but the ones I bought are actually useable the pair she used live looked like a dog had been chewing on them for a month but these are great sticks and there the same price as standard vic firth sticks that a no brainer to me
Music background: Guitars, bass, cello, violin, mandolin, piano and just about any in between
Love these sticks
I have been drumming for about a year and a half now. In that time, I have tried 12-15 different sticks, not just vic firth, and not just hickory. I remember when I first started I didn't like the 5a's. They just felt off to me, so I started experimenting a few months later. These were one of the first pairs I got to try. I remember immediately feeling like these were the ones, I believe it was the weighting of the sticks that was what made my hands feel at home. I also really like the tip. I can hear a definite difference between regular barrel tips, oval tips, and these. I think I prefer the sound of barrel/round tips, but always not for the music I mostly play (or on cheap cymbals). I feel like these add a subtle flare. That paired with everything else

I have since tried others, and even liked others, but this pair (and the Matt Greiner signature sticks) really stand out. They are the ones that I feel actually improve my drumming. I put many many hours into my first Jen ledger before the tips started chipping. They have really been my go for the past 14 months My one complaint is that they don't have the natural finish that the Matt Greiner sticks do.
Great Tip, Length and Diameter!
I love the diameter and extended length, but the star of the stick is the tear drop tip. I'm not a fan of the acorn tip or round ball, so this is a beautiful compromise. The only issue with buying in bulk, which I do, is that the weight changes dramatically from stick to stick. I like the lighter weight sticks, so it's a shocker when I'm playing, drop or break a stick, and then grab a heavy replacement.
Great
these sticks are the best of all the vic firths i have, very well balanced and great sounding.i use them on my yamaha electronic kit and really like them alot!!
Good.
These are good a bit too long for my taste. I really like the Matt Greiner signature sticks because everything down to the finish was what I wanted in a stick. The finish is a little too slick on these for my super sweaty hands lol.
Music background: Church drummer on and off 20 years.
