So far so good
Had this for awhile but did not need it for anything. I recently took it out of the drawer and I am running an Mc-101 and 1010 Music Blacbox through it. It sounds great. I made up a small pedal board case with both machines attached with this inside. I nice little small portable setup with synth and sampling. Just trying to have fun with it. It's great, plus I can hook the irig duo up to phone and play synths, drums and even record a take.

Portability, Easy Setup, and Great Sound
A Fun Addition for MIDI Guitarists

I was been looking for a more portable way of enhancing the sound of my 10+ year old midi guitar. Previously, I would lug my 20 year old Edirol hardware midi sound module around to gigs and then fiddle with the setup up manually (which is what you had to do if you didn't want to haul a laptop as well).

All of that has changed for me. The portable iRig Pro Duo I/O coupled with their free SampleTank IOS phone app makes for a fantastic combination. Additional midi sound samples are avaiable for a tiny fee, but well worth downloading.

As a singer/songwriter, I've been writing and playing more folk acoustic guitar oriented music for years, but never invested in the world of electric guitars with their zillions of effects boxes. With the iRig Pro Duo I/O and SampleTank app combo, I can finally explore the dimensions of the electric world.

iRig Pro Duo interface
First, kudos to the customer service folks at iK Multimedia. I bought this interface while recovering from surgery, while rebuilding my desktop PC (and incorporating a lot of new audio capabilities), and during the Thxgiving holiday. I couldn't easily make my first attempt at registering the unit for weeks and had succeeded in losing the serial number. They were kind enough to bail me out, though I don't recommend following my example!

As for the unit itself, it's an elegant solution to a particular audio problem. I recently started singing with backing tracks from a tablet for various audiences. I'm not entirely happy with the performance of my Bluetooth connection to the mixer. Delvin Wolf, my Sweetwater Sales Engineer listened patiently to my oddball application and suggested the iRig interface. I'm glad I took his advice. This unit allows me to create a high quality, reliable connection now. I look forward to finding other ways to take advantage of this new tool in my kit.

Absolutely love it!
Absolutely love this interface and haven't found anything about it that I don't like. I've used it with two guitars at the same time, used it to record vocals via XLR mic, used it to record from an electronic drum kit, literally use it 100% of the time at home for practice. Used it once in a live set (with laptop & Amplitube) as well!

As advertized
Worked with Apple iPad Pro m4 Max and Korg Nautilus so I could use the iPad as a Wavestation with a dozen or so sound cards
Next is using the iPad as an M1
The iRig. could really use a better owners manual though
Or better yet a wiring diagram and color light explanations
