Transform Your Workflow with Supercharged Performance

Audient’s top-of-the-line audio interface delivers the performance and value discerning audio professionals demand. This 24-in/32-out USB-C interface culls eight of the company's acclaimed console microphone preamps, two JFET instrument inputs, class-leading 24bit/96kHz converters, ADAT expandability, and a DSP mixer. The mic preamps feature the same circuit design from Audient's renowned ASP8024-HE console with vanishingly low noise and distortion, all while still maintaining the analog character you crave. And with 68dB of gain on tap, you can use your favorite low-output ribbon mic on subdued sources. The unit's two DI inputs provide harmonic enhancement modeled after the input stage of a classic tube amplifier. Performance-packed and ready to rock, the Audient iD48 has impressed the engineers here at Sweetwater. Put it through the paces during your next session, and you’ll be impressed, too!

What is Certified Open Box Gear?

At Sweetwater, we're so picky that what we call "Certified Open Box" is actually better than what most music retailers sell as "new" gear! Our gear hasn't endured hundreds of people a week plunking away at all the keyboards, fumbling through Stairway to Heaven on every guitar or playing with every fader and knob on a mixer or control surface.

Certified Open Box (also known as a demo) means we’ve had it out of the box for our YouTube channel, displayed at events, tested in our studio, or maybe it was in a customer’s hands for a few days and isn’t ‘factory fresh’ as a result. Every Certified Open Box item we sell has Sweetwater’s 2-year Total Confidence Coverage™ warranty and has been tested and verified up to ‘new’ specs by our factory-authorized technicians to make sure it’s in perfect working order before we ship it to you.

When you buy a Certified Open Box item at Sweetwater, you get:
  • 2-year Total Confidence Coverage Warranty™!
  • Products inspected and tested by our factory-authorized techs, guaranteed to function like new (or better)!
  • FREE shipping on most items
  • Equipment that will MEET or EXCEED your expectations!

Reviews

Deserves more recognition, fantastic quality.
Most of what Im utilizing my interface for is hybrid mixing/mastering. I use 1 mic input on the back but I use my own lunchbox gear for tracking. That said, this unit has excellent headroom, and the software and ease of use has been one of the single most excellent experiences Ive had with hybrid mixing through an interface. Switching between the mic inputs and ADC (for hardware inputs) is seamless, and its so quick to switch back to a mic input as necessary. I love the DB25 setup on the back as thats what I was already utilizing for my gear I/O.

It doesnt crash, it sounds fantastic, and I think these guys deserve more recognition. Many companies cant get the software right and these guys did.
Audient iD48
What can I say,it's an Audient so it delivers 8 channels of their ASP console pre's high end sound in an amazingly affordable package

If you need 8 console channels of high end pre with 32 bit conversion, then this is the one for you (and me!)

Next level audio
My first Audient product and I am very impressed. My previous interface was an Apogee Ensemble but the iD48 sounds and feels next level. Custumer support has been fantastic and quick which is also a big plus in my view.
Recommended.

This unit is Fantastic. It sounds great, the micpres are clear, and accurate with a bit of aggressiveness. I have a small bedroom style studio, using Reaper. For the interface hardware, I am setup with the first 4 mic pres in Insert mode, and inputs 5 - 8 are setup in ADC Direct mode. I have nearfield speakers on outs 1/2, and mid-field on outs 3/4. I use Cue A for Headphone monitor 1, and Cue B for Headphone monitor 2. This allows me to record with outboard gear before printing to DAW on the first 4 channels simultaneously, then during mix, it gives me 4 send/returns from the DAW for outboard gear processing. All I have to do is change my patching at the patch panel to select which gear I want. This unit allows for a VERY flexible small studio format. Then if you need to record drums, in less than a minute, just reconfigure the interface, or retrieve a stored configuration from an earlier session. GREAT STUFF.
loved it until it stopped working mid session on an important client
This sounds fantastic however it just died on me mid session with an important client and i had to quickly grab my old 1st gen focusrite 18i20. Keep in mind thisnwas the first real session ive used it on. I have been using it for quick demo stuff for the last 4 months. Not a lot of hours on it. Left a very bad taste in my mouth.
