Integrated 32-bit USB audio interface

Whether you’re recording in your studio or performing live with backing tracks from your laptop, the Xone:96 eliminates the need for an external audio interface. It features two independent USB connections, each with six stereo inputs and outputs, and operates at 32-bit/96kHz resolution. And DJs at Sweetwater are pleased to report the Xone:96 supports DVS control over Native Instruments’ Traktor Scratch Pro 2 DJ software right out of the box.

Sculpt your mixes with the VCF Filter System

The Xone:96 boasts Allen & Heath’s renowned analog Voltage Control Filter (VCF) system. The lowpass and highpass filters, frequency sweep, and “mild to wild” resonance control give you fine-tuned control of taking your mixes into sonic territory only confined by your imagination. Really amazing piece of gear

I DJ all types of dance music and the 96 is where i feel most at home. The familiar layout and new feel of the faders paired with the digital capabilities and other small touches just make the mixer feel so good to me. I only wish they kept the LFO!

Solid Choice

This mixer can handle a small project studio as easily as it can 6 channels of DJ gear with two effects boxes - just use sends 1-2 and returns 3-4. I recently played on the Xone92 at a gig and the only difference is the extras you get minus the two LFO that I wasn"t using anyways.

For me this has two XDJs and three Elektron Boxes plus a prophet 12 with a big sky and x4 delay on the sends. Still saving up for outboard gear for the master send/return. Comparing to the Pioneer at the same price you exchanged sync"d effects for a ton of flexibility.

Xone96

I've been using this mixer now for about a month and I really like it. The curves on the EQ's, VCO filters, sliders, everything is super smooth! It sounds really good. I used to run my sound from my previous mixer through a BBE 882i Sonic Maximizer to add dynamics and I'm using much less of that enhancement now because this mixer sounds really good on its own. I like its versatility as a mixer too. I plan to produce original music with this tool too. It offers a lot of functionality and many different ways to use it. I had second thoughts about moving into this brand but so far I'm super happy that I chose this unit. It feels really solid and I hope it stands the test of time too. Nice work A&H.

Quality control at Allen and heath at a all time low

So first and for most. This review of Sweetwater is a 10 stars out of 5. Customer service is outstanding.

The sound of this mixer is outstanding, the new improvements to the faders, and cross fader are amazing. Send and returns amazing. Duel monitor outputs for headphones amazing. Filters sound amazing. So what"s the problem??? Well I"m now on to my third. First one resnation knob on the wild side for filter 1 is sandy feeling. Still works just saying I don"t have long. For Allen and heath people you know how tight and smooth there stuff feels. Second to nun. So second come after Sweetwater amazing customer service next day airs me this one. Top marks Sweetwater. I open it up and go thru my does everything feel good test and holly crap!! Filter two same sandy felling on the high end of the frequency knob. Shame Allen and heath shame on you!! Now know this. Xone mixers are made in China like just about everything else. I"m not mad about it, but with that said they have to hold there Chinese feet to the fire and quality control them to not have this. Was mad on the first one. No!! Nothing is perfect. Two back to back. Same type and style knob. Yes I am. Very disappointed in you Allen and heath!! My whole set up is pioneer except the mixer because the xone 92 was supior to pioneer. So when the xone 96 came out. I was on it before it even made it to the distributors. One more try and I"m not goin to waste Sweetwaters time or my own. If this next one is not up to the standard that has put you on the map Allen and heath. I will have a all pioneer set up. That"s a promise. Can u blame me???
