Achieve Killer Guitar Tone Without an Amp

Inject life into your digital guitar processor with the ISP Technologies Vector FS8. In Full Range mode, this 175-watt bi-amplified speaker delivers a flattering full-range guitar sound that will invigorate your amp simulations without coloring your signal. You can also transform the Vector FS8 into a standard guitar cabinet with the flip of a switch, making it the perfect platform for your pedalboard or preamp. The Vector FS8 makes a superb stage monitor — it features a 40-degree upwards tilt to direct the sound towards your ears and a pair of inputs for monitoring vocals. The Vector FS8 is housed in a durable Baltic birch cabinet.

FRFR amplification is tailor-made for amp modelers

If you use a digital effects processor or amp modeling software to create your tone, a traditional guitar amplifier will produce coloration that is undesirable. For example, playing a clean American-sounding amp simulation through a British stack doesn't sound like a clean American-sounding amp. It sounds like a clean American-sounding amp played through a British stack. To eliminate this problem, you need FRFR (full-range, flat-response) amplification. An FRFR system like the ISP Technologies Vector FS8 is clean and accurate — much like a PA or studio monitoring system. It preserves the sound of your amp/cab simulation without adding additional character.

DAA technology delivers great tone at all volumes

The ISP Technologies Vector FS8 is loaded with DAA (Dynamic Adaptive Amplifier) technology, so it provides great tone at all volumes. At Sweetwater, we found that this powered cabinet retains its tone even when it's clipping, without any trace of harshness. The Vector FS8 features a high-performance 8" Beyma woofer and 1" silk-dome tweeter in a coaxial configuration, delivering round lows and smooth highs up to 20kHz when in Full Range mode. When in Guitar Cab mode, the Vector FS8 exhibits excellent midrange response with a smooth roll-off at 4kHz.

ISP Technologies Vector FS8 Features:

  • 175W full-range powered guitar cabinet with 8" Beyma woofer and 1" silk-dome tweeter
  • DAA technology retains your tone while clipping without any trace of harshness
  • Full Range mode delivers a full-range guitar sound that invigorates amp simulations without coloring the signal
  • Guitar Cab mode offers the perfect platform for your pedalboard or preamp
  • 40-degree up tilt directs the sound towards your ears
  • 2 inputs for monitoring vocals
  • Housed in a durable Baltic birch cabinet

What is Demo Gear?

At Sweetwater, we're so picky that what we call a "demo" is actually better than what most music retailers sell as "new" gear! Our gear hasn't endured hundreds of people a week plunking away at all the keyboards, fumbling through Stairway to Heaven on every guitar or playing with every fader and knob on a mixer or control surface.

What demo means to us is that we've had it out of the box, or maybe it was in a customer's hands for a few days and isn't "factory fresh" as a result. Every demo item we sell has Sweetwater's 2-year Total Confidence Coverage™ warranty, and has been tested and verified up to "new" specs by our factory-authorized technicians to make sure it's in perfect working order before we ship it to you.

When you buy a Demo item at Sweetwater, you get:
  • 2-year Total Confidence Coverage Warranty™!
  • Products inspected and tested by our factory-authorized techs, guaranteed to function like new (or better)!
  • FREE shipping on most items
  • Equipment that will MEET or EXCEED your expectations!

Almost perfect! Loud, clear, even, NOT scooped.

I've had a pair of these FS8's for about a year. I compared them against the Headrush 108's and the much heavier (double the weight) Mission Gemini 1. These have a very even and clear sound that is NOT scooped like the Headrush. They punch WAY above their weight class. I play with an extremely loud rock drummer and these keep up. They sound good on a big stage, too.

My only gripe is the tiny input level knobs. They are black on black and are difficult to see what the level is set to.

I use them with a Fractal FM3 modeler.
Music background: Rock guitarist for 35 years, some pro audio and multitrack recording for 25 years.

Solid FRFR powered cabinet for an Amp Modeler.

Excellent sound quality and well built, for a partly reasonable price if you compare it to some of the other guitar FRFR cabinets out there. Not a lot of videos on it sadly to hear more how it sounds, but there are reviews if you want to trust them. I did and am very happy with it. Sometime gear works out, sometimes not. I'm running my Fractal Audio FM3 into it using a Mogami XLR male female cable and it sounds really good. Better once the speaker broke in. Definitely powerful enough to play with lots of hard hitting drummers and capable of doing lower volumes very well for practice, writing and monitoring your modeler in studio. Pretty flat and very close to my recording tones. I am a hard rock player using mostly Mesa II C+ models with effects designed to melt paint and make little children cry. But the clean tones out of it are equally good. I use it mainly on the flat setting as to get the closest to my presets that I have spent lots of time setting up, but the cabinet effect setting is a good option if you want to cut out some of the high end depending on the venue you're at. Run one of these on stage and going into a good PA and you'll have a solid overall setup. And did I mention it's easy to carry and pretty light?
Music background: Waited at the crossroads for days and still no contract signed.

Isp Vector FS8 Is a Beast!

Got this for my church. Totally amazed How great this FS8 sounds. Plenty of power too. Been trying to pick the right frfr speaker for my helix and I’m glad I picked this one. So much power for a small light weight frfr. Excellent sound and punch

Great unit!

I use this with my Kemper and it doubles as my vocal monitor! I place it behind me and have NO feedback issues. I keep the level at noon and its loud! No problem keeping up with a rock drummer.

Little speaker, big Punch!

Lost of power for such a small package, great tone and punch!
