Won't Use Any Other
Can't even perform with any other stick. If I had a signature stick this would be the exact design! Not only to note they don't even feel mushy or weak when they start to wear and fray. I had a 6 day run of shows with 3 pairs durability was off the chart and they sounded felt & played consistent until 2 sticks out of the three pair broke. Not to mention, you can combine with another buddy rich stick and the feel is still matched! GREAT STICKS I WILL NOT USE ANY OTHER!!! VIC FIRTH 4 LIFE!!!

You play metal? Jazz? Pop? Get these sticks
The range of playability with these sticks is plain bonkers. Have you ever had to switch from a jazz gig to death metal? I have. It's like using the same umbrella from a light drizzle to a fill blown hurricane.

Even a beaver on steroids couldn't chew through these. I slam them like a sledgehammer when need calls and can also feather them like a fairies surfboard on a light breeze.

I use MANY different sticks for different applications, but these are always the ones that sit atop my snare, ready for any action, like a sniper atop a hill, aimed precisely at any given target.

The feel is unmatched. They really are their own voice. The range is higher than Heaven. If you are skeptical about buying a pair. Do it. Unless you are afraid of falling in love. I've been using these as my go-to for so many years, I forgot I even aged since my first pair. Do the dang thing. Buy them. Work them. Bite them. Whatever. They are the best sticks for versatility on this planet
Very versatile stick
I'm normally a Vic Firth 5B guy, but I recently picked up a pair of these at a local drum shop, and fell back in love with them. I used to use these waaaay back in the day, probably the 90's I would have to say... The weight and balance of these are great for any style. The tips give a nice articulation on cymbals, and the white coating on them is really cool. (If for no other reason)..I use sticky bumps wax with these, and it's a great combo. Thinner than a 5B, but you really don't feel much of a difference in comparison to other brands.. And they tend to last just as good as any other stick out there. So if you're looking to try a little thinner of a stick than a 5B, check these out.

Under the radar GREAT stick
I normally play a Vater 5B Nylon tip for louder rock gigs. Lately, I've also been doing music which requires a different approach and ultimately, a different stick. These stick can really do it all and I don't say that lightly. The thing I love about them is the balance. They have enough heft to suit me which makes singles and doubles a blast to play as are old school shuffles. The cross stick sound is big and cymbal patterns are well defined. They don't disappoint at all.
Music background: Rock, funk, jazz, country, Americana
Excellent Choice!
I've always loved these sticks. They seem to balance in your hands and float perfectly... taking seemingly very little effort to keep things rolling. I also like the Vic Firth Terry Bozzio signature sticks... tad thinner than the Buddy sticks, and a bit more foreword mass for great power and rebound. Those and these Buddy Rich ones are my go-to sticks. Bozzio's for the power and strong rebound, Rich's for the smooth articulate float.
