Great sticks, but poor tips.
I have purchased at least 30 pairs of these sticks over the years and have enjoyed playing with them. The length and diameter are perfect. The tips are NOT. The tips are extremely prone to chipping and cause a new stick to fail, which is not good during a performance. If Vic Firth made this stick with a nylon tip, I would buy another 30 pairs immediately!

Best sticks I’ve ever had so far
I've gone through 2 pairs of these
And I can say while they're not as durable as others (probably because of my style of playing) I can comfortably say these are one of the best pairs I've ever laid my hands on, super comfortable and light feel allows me to feel more in control over my dynamics. Great for jazz drumming btw.
