Great quality

Not just for Metal.
The METAL stick has serious heft. But for such a long length and large diameter, it plays relatively effortlessly as it seems to want to rebound itself without much input from the player. Coming from the 2B it took a little getting used to the length and the weight. But from behind the kit, notes are so much clearer and more powerful even when up against every drummers enemy: very loud guitar and bass amps. I personally think these play better than the ROCK model due to the rebound since the taper seems to be just a hair longer in comparison.

While they are aimed at metal players, you could use these with any style that requires a consistent loud dynamic range (i.e. rock, metal, pop, etc.) as they produce a VERY full tone from all the drums (especially snares/rim-shots) but also have a very useable cymbal sound. A lot of large diameter sticks have big tips that sound terrible on cymbals...but not these! I keep coming back to them, Recommended!
