Classic all-tube design provides sweet harmonics and warm distortion

Inside the Bugera V5 Infinium guitar combo amplifier you'll find a 12AX7 preamp tube and an EL84 power tube, giving you classic, all-tube tone. The hand-selected 12AX7 provides you with sweetly-balanced harmonics and natural tube compression, while the EL84 really drives the V5 Infinium when pushed to the max. With the V5 Infinium, you can easily conjure up the warm distortion and break up you've come to appreciate from the vintage amps of yesteryear.

High-definition reverb puts the finishing touch on your sound

The Bugera V5 Infinium guitar combo amplifier's high-definition reverb adds a distinctive polish to your sound. Because it's fully adjustable, the V5's reverb can provide you with all sorts of different effects. From subtle ambience to a cavernous, reverberant arena, the V5 can pull it off.

Infinium Tube Life Multiplier technology keeps your tubes healthy

It's a well-known fact that tubes wear out. Luckily, the Bugera V5 Infinium guitar combo amplifier's Infinium Tube Life Multiplier technology can greatly extend the lifespan of your tubes, saving you money and ensuring the integrity of your tone. This amazing technology actually monitors the performance of each of the amplifier's output tubes and maintains them at their ideal operating point for an evenly distributed load. Also, an LED next to each tube lets you know when they're about to die, so you can anticipate issues before they cause problems.

Bugera V5 Infinium Guitar Combo Amplifier Features:
  • 12AX7 preamp tube and EL84 power tube provide sweet harmonics and warm distortion
  • British-engineered Turbosound speaker delivers phenomenal sonic quality
  • Infinium Tube Life Multiplier technology extends the lifespan of your tubes
  • Classic-style tone control allows for sound-shaping
  • Built-in power attenuator lets you hit the sweet spot at any volume
  • Integrated high-definition reverb with dedicated reverb control
The Bugera V5 Infinium guitar combo amplifier gives you loads of vintage all-tube tone!
What is Certified Open Box Gear?

At Sweetwater, we're so picky that what we call "Certified Open Box" is actually better than what most music retailers sell as "new" gear! Our gear hasn't endured hundreds of people a week plunking away at all the keyboards, fumbling through Stairway to Heaven on every guitar or playing with every fader and knob on a mixer or control surface.

Certified Open Box (also known as a demo) means we’ve had it out of the box for our YouTube channel, displayed at events, tested in our studio, or maybe it was in a customer’s hands for a few days and isn’t ‘factory fresh’ as a result. Every Certified Open Box item we sell has Sweetwater’s 2-year Total Confidence Coverage™ warranty and has been tested and verified up to ‘new’ specs by our factory-authorized technicians to make sure it’s in perfect working order before we ship it to you.

When you buy a Certified Open Box item at Sweetwater, you get:
  • 2-year Total Confidence Coverage Warranty™!
  • Products inspected and tested by our factory-authorized techs, guaranteed to function like new (or better)!
  • FREE shipping on most items
  • Equipment that will MEET or EXCEED your expectations!

Reviews

Best little pound for pound!
Incredible tone from that 84 power! For the price and even well above it, it's the best little rock & roll blues machine on the market today. The 1x12 55watter is a beast also for much bigger venues.
Great apartment amplifier
This amp is very nice sounding and practical to use in an apartment complex. Attenuated at the lowest level you can play using common sense, without complaints from neighbors and still enjoy the tube sound. Don't get me wrong you will still need the headphones after 10 pm but I've got no complaints since buying it. It is the best entry tube amp at this price!

Boy was i dreaming
I grew up with tube amps,Fender's,Marshall's,Musicman and i always had a great sound and took it for granted obviously well they got sold or stolen thru the yrs and couldnt justify buying them(havent been playn out)so got a katana mkii50 for me and my grandson 2yrs ago its a great amplifier but inside i couldnt bond with it at all and only played it short periods, then i said f it and got this on sale and cant stop playing it the guitar sounds real again holy sh#% i forgot how great the tubes sound yup more volume then i'll ever need pedal board yup no prob sounds sweet so glad i got it here at Sweetwater it was triple boxed and looks great too if the tubes fail i'll swap em otherwise she's a runner if your a player who wants a small tube amp cheap here yago

Great product!
Works perfect with stock speaker. I tried the upgrade some prefer . It canceled the mid range tone that gives this amp a warm vintage tube sound . I sent the speaker back and now play it it stock out of the box

Great Little Amp
Like all the other reviews- this amp is a little gem. I use it mainly for sound evaluation in my shop where I need clear, pure sound to fully "hear" the finished products/guitars. The size is perfect and it can certainly be used for gigging at a small venue. I also did a tube swap and am using J&Js. I heard a slight difference but then I splurged and went all out with the Eminence Patriot 20w speaker swap...and then the wolf in sheep's clothing really came out. More tonal control, lots of headroom and controllable crunch. It's now the perfect shop/practice and gig amp for sure. Nice build quality, looks great, overall solid and well put together. I feel it's priced very good for what you get. I went over on the speaker mod, it was truly a great amp already- so if you are fixed on price/budget, this thing will be great out of the box. Highly recommend.
Music background: Weak at best- but great builder and modder
