I have a keyboard and two electronic drum modules that I use for my drum kit... Everything worked directly plugged into the hub, except 41 of my drum modules which I ended up using another adapter... Otherwise this is a great unit.

Plugged it in and out worked immediately. Haven't tried anything complicated yet but connected to my yamaha an1x without any problems.

I needed an inexpensive way to connect my ancient MIDI keyboard up to my linux computer for use in Musescore... it was either search for a joystick port adapter to use my ancient interface, or go newfangled - so I chose this USB MIDI interface. I'm only using one set of IN/OUT ports but it just works nicely. Really nothing more to say - it does what it's supposed to do.

So Behringer overlooked an issue with the SY-1. there are 2 channels of synthy drum goodness, however they each receive on separate Midi channels and there is only 1 midi in port. If you want the option to work DAWless and send a sequence to both channels from your main drum machine you can't do it! Enter the CME Pro U6. It allows you to duplicate the sequence and map it to multiple channels simulatenously solving the problem. Once you save the setting a computer is no longer necessary. Took a little trial and error and rereading of the manual but I had it doing what I wanted in about an hour. It would've been faster if I just immediately went to the manual instead of trying to be "intuitive". I'm sure it solves more complex Midi routing issues as well, but for this simple application it literally doubled the value of my SY-1. Now I can jam out on 2 channels live instead of just 1.

Upgraded to this interface after my older (different manufacturer) MIDI interface died, and immediately noticed faster, much more accurate response. The LEDs are a nice visual indication of data traffic. Haven't used the router yet due to my simple setup, but it's another nice feature. Thanks CME for such a well-designed product! Highly recommended.
