TeleLock Convenience with Extra Height

Great Stands!

These stands are great! I love how quick and safe it is to lift up and lower heavy speakers. These stands get the speakers up super high without comprising safety.

The best!

I've used TS stands for almost a decade, and they're first rate. I use TS90s for speakers and TS99s for lighting, with both a t-bar fixture and as supports for an overhead crossbar.

The raise and lower mechanism is a marvel, but the transition from one mode to another takes a little finesse. All the way clockwise is locked. As you turn it counterclockwise, at first it goes into the "raise" mode. You can lift and let go without having to support the weight. Very, very useful. Once it's up where you want it, full clockwise to lock.

To lower, the key is to turn slowly until it starts to move, then let it down by itself. Turn the lock too far, and the damping clutch lets go and it will drop. A little practice makes perfect.

Best of all for the long run is that the locking mechanism is field-serviceable with replacement parts. I haven't had the occasion yet, but nice to know.

Light, fearsome strong, super stable, safe, and versatile. Hardly a budget item, but a solid piece of pro gear.

BTW, one trick for the vertically challenged is to tip the stand horizontal, slip the speaker on, then carefully tip it vertical. Two-person job, but avoids lifting heavy speakers above shoulder height.

Very stable/sturdy stands! Do not buy cheap stands

This is the first speaker stand I have ever purchased. I am glad I spent the extra money on a sturdy well built stand.These should last forever.We used them for lighting, so to get the stand to lower you have to turn the release knob completely to the lower setting. With heavier loads I am sure the release would disengage as soon as it gets to that setting. Sweetwater was great to work .Thanks Art!

TS-99B Stand

It is essential to get your speakers up high. The TS-99B will get it up from 6' to 9' high. These do just what they are supposed to do with a
nice assist. It was easy to raise a 43 pound speaker. The only slight disadvantage was having to use a small step (one foot) to stand on to get the speakers on the stand. You're starting out at around six feet to
mount the speaker, so you need a little extra height. If you are careful
when you unlock and turn the release, the speakers will slowly come down. Turn too quickly, and they will scare you because they come down very fast. All the Ultimate Support Stands seem to be well made.
