Does What It Should

This was a nice 3rd tier addition to my keyboard stand. Just make sure you choose the right arm length for your situation. 18" is better for adding thicker keyboards toward the bottom. If you're trying to add another level toward the top, go for 13".

Ultimate Support long sticks

These work perfectly for a 3 tiered Ultimate Support stand with a larger keyboard. It allows for stability for a wider keyboard as well all the ability to slide the lower keyboard closer for programming and patch changes.

Give yourself Options

The 18" arms for the Apex AX-48 Pro are awesome. These support up to 125lbs. When you buy the stand it comes with a 13" set and then an 18" set. I have 3 tiers on my Apex AX-48 (yes purchased an additional mount and arms), but when i swapped out my arranger i needed longer arms underneath it. So now i have 3 sets of 18" arms.

If you are going to run the Apex AX-48 Pro stand in 3 tier, or even as two tier, i would recommend just picking up a set of extra arms(18") so you have enough to make each tier 18" if needed. the 13" can be stored in the Apex-AX48 on top in case you need to swap them out for something smaller.

I use this size arms for my Triton ProX 88, which is a 63 lbs keyboard and they do just fine.
Been using my Apex as a 3 tier for over 4 years and the arms have not failed once.

I would pick up an extra set of 18" like i mentioned earlier so you can give yourself options. You'll be happy for doing it in the long run.

Good up grade

These 18" bars really make a difference, I added a pair to my older support stand that only had the 13" bars. So I could add a 3rd keyboard, and see displays on all 3.
