Fender Custom Shop does it again
Fender Custom Shop Master Builder Ron Thorn didn’t mess around with this axe. You can shift the Lexus LC Stratocaster into high gear thanks to features like 2-point synchronized tremolo with block saddles, stainless steel frets, custom machined-brushed aluminum knobs, and twill carbon fiber pickguard. It also sports a 12-inch radius Richlite fingerboard that can take abusive wear and tear like a machine. The Modern “C” shape neck will keep your fretting hand gliding along the fretboard with plenty of speed and comfort. And when the stage goes dark, you can still mark your place on the fretboard with the glow-in-the-dark luminlay inlays.
A finish 15 years in the making
The attractive Structural Blue finish on the Lexus LC Stratocaster isn’t actually blue. In fact, this finish was created by Lexus and involved a series of colorless layers that combine to create an iridescent-like blue color. Inspired by the blue morpho butterfly, Lexus nailed this spectral finish after 15 years of trial and error. You’ll also see this nature-inspired color flaunted by the Lexus LC 500 coupe and convertible Inspiration Series — of which only 200 were made in the US. This unique finish emphasizes the classic curves of the Stratocaster’s body, creating majestic shadows and sparkling highlights every time the light hits it. As you can imagine, it makes for jaw-dropping visuals on any stage.
Noiseless single-coils boast pristine tone
One strike of the string, and you’re in for the ride of your life. Not only does the outward appearance of the Fender Custom Shop Lexus LC Stratocaster exude luxuriousness, but the SSS configuration of Ultra Noiseless Vintage Strat single-coils also packs a scorching sonic punch. You get all the benefit of single-coil tone without the annoying hum. A 5-position blade gives you access to a wide range of tonal configurations. Master Builder Ron Thorn also adorned the Lexus LC Strat with master volume and tone knobs that match the Mark Levinson stereo knobs used by Lexus. Add the 2-Point Synchronized Tremolo onto that, and you’re locked and loaded for high-octane Stratocaster shredding.
