There are took marks appearing on the treble side post of the stopbar. There is a cluster of contamination located at the bottom of the body, on the bass side. There are spots of delamination appearing at various locations on the front and back binding of the body. There may also be fine blemishes on various parts of the instrument that are not photographed. These blemishes do not show well in photos, if at all. The following accessories are included: owner's manual, warranty, sticker and sllen wrench.

Semi-hollow construction

A center-block, semi-hollow construction — hollow on both sides with a solid core running through the center — gives the Starfire I SC electric guitar that classic Guild tone and response without sacrificing live playability. Together with its quality tonewoods, comfortable neck, rock-solid hardtail bridge, and daring modern electronics, the Starfire I SC has all the makings of a professional instrument at a very reasonable price.

A fixed Tune-O-Matic bridge with matching stopbar tailpiece helps to maximize tone and tuning stability in this non-vibrato Starfire I SC. I am impressed

I must say, I am impressed with this guitar.
I have owned, and currently own, many similar guitars (Ibanez, Squier, etc), and this Guild blows them all away.

It plays and sounds like a guitar that should be twice the price. The coil split option is actually what sold me on this guitar, but to be honest I never use it because the hum buckers sound so good.

The one negative I have about this guitar are the tone pots. I may swap them out for audio taper eventually because the current linear taper pots are completely worthless. They are either on or off. Luckily the clear sounding pickups make up for this.

This model is done so well that I am currently looking to get the Starfire III model.

WOW !! Really nice for this price !

I just received this guitar today and like some other people reviewing this guitar I am blown away at the quality of this guitar. It really is that good. And I am picky. my volume & tone controls work as they should and the pickups sound great so far, but I might change them, but that's just me , you don't have too. Fit & Finish is top shelf ! Way worth it for the money. Get one if your on the fence...

A very nice guitar for the price, good overall value

I purchased this Guild about a year or so ago. I highly recommend this guitar, nice sounding, good overall workmanship and quality. Very versatile and nice sounding pickups, light weight but to the hollow body design. Very appealing guitar, this one sits in my living on a stand due to its attractiveness. I am please with it overall.

Sweet

For the price, this is amazing. I am going to put flat wounds on it and use it for jazz. The neck pickup is weak, but that's irrelevant. Feels great to play. Inspiring neck feel and great tone. Just buy it

My dream guitar

I've dreamt about this first for years and this Christmas my wife surprised me with one! It keeps tune and the sound is as good as every Guild promises. I've got 8 guitars a mandolin and a banjo but this is definitely my new lover!
