Extensive Multi-effects Plug-in with Straightforward Controls
Like you, Sweetwater loves great sounding plug-ins with simple controls. Sprite from AIR is a prime example. It has a gorgeous interface with intuitive macro master controls for distortion, delay, reverb, and two modulation slots. Simply choose one of the many presets, start sliding faders, bypass modules to compare A/B effects, and you’ll have awesome usable sounds in mere moments. If you’d like more control, Sprite also has an intensive Edit Mode that allows you to see the “magic” behind each effect and fine tune it to your heart’s content. Lastly, Sprite’s final output EQ mode puts the finishing touches on your sounds with 31 EQ presets and controls for width, gain, and limiting.
Note: This software expansion requires MPC Key 37, MPC Key 61, MPC One+, MPC One, MPC X, MPC X Special Edition, MPC Live, MPC Live II, MPC Live 3, or MPC XL hardware running MPC version 3.4 or above. Please contact your Sweetwater Sales Engineer with any questions or concerns regarding compatibility.

Subtle to monstrous distortion
First up is Sprite’s Distortion module. Here you’ll find nine different distortion models with controls for mix, smoothing, and high/low cut filters. Whether you want subtle harmonic saturation or total audio annihilation (and everything in between), Sprite will get you there.
Modulation in spades
Sprite features two modulation slots that handle different effects and have different settings. Slot One is where you’ll play with flutter, wow, tremolo, and auto-pan, as well their rate, drift, stereo, and depth controls. In Slot Two, you’ll be fiddling with chorus, multi-chorus, phaser, and flanger, plus their respective controls for rate, depth, feedback, depth, and mix.
Deep reverb and delay engines
Sprite’s Delay and Reverb module are deep enough to rival dedicated delay and reverb plug-ins! First, its Reverb module has eight distinct room types with controls for pre-delay, damp, time, and volume. Next, its Delay features BPM sync, controls for left and right, width, and mix, as well as 24 feedback setups. Single, dual, and cross modes round out this impressive module.
Peek under the hood
Many multi-effects plug-ins have a “what you hear is what you get” operation and allow you to tweak their sounds only slightly. What really sets Sprite apart is its rich Edit Mode, which allows you to adjust parameters and precisely sculpt sounds to perfection. This makes Sprite not just a great multi-effects plug-in, but a total workstation for sound design.
