Learn On This Harmonica!

Here's the perfect harmonica to learn on. The Hohner Special 20 gives you great tone and excellent bendability. Plus, since it has a special airtight design, the Special 20 is the choice for harmonica players of a bunch of different styles - from blues to country, folk to rock. The plastic comb also doesn't absorb moisture, so the Special 20 is made to last a long time. The Special 20 is the kind of harmonica you rely on, and the pick for countless gigging players (including Bob Dylan on his 2007/2008 tour). When quality and affordability count, go with the Hohner Special 20.

Great Harp
A great harp for all kinds of music. The plastic comb makes it particularly easy to play. This was a purchase to complete my set.

Great Product
The build quality and consistent sound are what drew me to the product. I have several of these in different keys and they are very consistent in tone. I am looking forward to many years performing with these.

Special 20
I own marine band , blues harp, so I thought I'd try the Special 20. I rate the sound the lowest of the three. Perhaps it was the high key of F that wasn't appealing, but I prefer the others. I like the wood combs better than plastic. SW did a great job: fast shipping, low price, and free holder ( rebate) and case with 3 beginner ( kid harmonicas). I'll try a golden melody or Lee Oskar next.
Hit or miss anymore
I play harmonica better than most. I use my harmonica and especially rely upon The Hohner Special 20 in the key of "F". At $... this is getting to become tiresome. The Harmonica I received was new, I placed it onto my rack and began my performance. I wasn't into my show 30 minutes when the reeds froze. They lock up and there is nothing one can do, like when your playing your guitar and a string breaks. If your good, you can replace it fast or have a back-up guitar ready. You only need to replace the string. When a reed breaks on a harmonica, it is on a plate and the whole thing is wasted, unless you replace that plate. Sure you need a back up but AT $... I am The Starving Artist, and now, you know why. Can't put salt and pepper on the thing but still, you have TO EAT IT!
