Dial in Your Ideal Amount of Dampening
Snareweight calls the Fader F1 its most versatile dampener yet, delivering everything from the subtle touch of the M1b to the heavy control of the M80. The integrated thumbscrew lets you adjust the pressure the leather tab applies to your batter or resonant drumhead, giving you complete control over the dampening range. Once the Fader F1 is easily attached, you can twist the thumbscrew and then slide the eponymous fader from a range of 1 to 5, with 1 being the least amount of dampening and 5 being the greatest. Additionally, you can turn the Fader F1 off completely for no dampening at all. Finally, the Snareweight Fader F1's compatibility spans many drum sizes and nearly any hoop style, though Sweetwater drummers suggest not using it with arc- or stick-saver-style hoops.
