Warm, Shimmering Full Crash

The Paiste 18" Signature Full Crash envelops you in its full, sparkling sound. It delivers even response with warm, shimmering sustain.

The Paiste Signature series

Paiste Signature series cymbals are crafted using Paiste's proprietary Signature Alloy. Signature cymbals sound full and bright, with strong presence and projection. They have a crisp, focused character, and articulately respond to your stick attack. Above all, Signature series cymbals are eminently musical. Signature Precision series cymbals are made from the same Signature alloy using a streamlined manufacturing process to give you Signature sound at a more affordable price.

Paiste - a tradition of innovation

Headquartered in Switzerland, Paiste meets the creative needs of drummers and percussionists with innovative cymbals, gongs, and bronze percussion instruments. Founded at the beginning of the 20th Century, Paiste lays claim to a number of cymbal firsts, including the first use of 8% bronze, the wavy-edged hi-hat bottom cymbal, the bell-less flat ride, unlathed hammered cymbals, color-coated cymbals, China cymbals with a downturned edge, and the invention of their Signature Bronze Alloy. World-class drummers such as Bill Bruford, Stewart Copeland, and Vinnie Colaiuta have long relied on Paiste cymbals to forge their signature sounds - and you can, too!

Dynamic and Musical
Always a pleasure ordering from Chris L, and these cymbals do not disappoint! I love the dynamic range of the Paiste signatures, and they work perfectly for my applications.

Gods Crash Cymbal
amazing, warm and bright, smooth decay that doesn't ring, and looks great.
Consistency Matters
Received this cymbal yesterday. Will play it on two gigs this weekend. Over the last decade or so, one thing I've noticed among some of the well known cymbal manufacturers, is that the consistency of the product being made has improved quite a bit. I bought this Paiste based on what I heard on various videos. What I got was pretty much that exact same sound.

It was what I expected to hear.

Back a few decades ago, it was amazing how different two cymbals of the same size, weight, series, and style would sound from the same mfg. You could play a dozen different ones which were supposed to be the same cymbal, before you might find one that you liked. That's not to say that only one out of the 12 was a good cymbal...but just to illustrate my remembrance of the inconsistency of the sound of the product from one example to the next, from my early years as a drummer.

Today...(and granted with a few years on me now)...I've come to appreciate being able to listen to a cymbal on-line and order it with a reasonable expectation, that what I'm going to receive, is going to sound exceptionally close to exactly what I heard on the video. That was certainly the case with this Paiste. It was the same for another "Z brand" cymbal I bought from Sweetwater about a year ago. The sound was right in the ballpark on that one too, even though a different manufacturer.

Perhaps some enjoy the hunt of listening to dozens of cymbals in person to find the one which is magic to their ears. I get that, because I used to be one of those drummers. Today, I like being able to do it with a pair of good quality headphones and a comfortable chair. Consistency matters...and makes that possible. Nice job Paiste.
Best Crash Cymbal
I find that the signature series cymbals are the most versatile, this 18" Paiste crash is one of the best-sounding cymbals.
Great crash
Best crash I've ever played, I've owned zildjians, other Paiste (2002) and the meinl byzance before and this is by far the best.
