Warm, Shimmering Full Crash

The Paiste 17" Signature Full Crash envelops you in its full, sparkling sound. It delivers even response with warm, shimmering sustain.

The Paiste Signature series

Paiste Signature series cymbals are crafted using Paiste's proprietary Signature Alloy. Signature cymbals sound full and bright, with strong presence and projection. They have a crisp, focused character, and articulately respond to your stick attack. Above all, Signature series cymbals are eminently musical. Signature Precision series cymbals are made from the same Signature alloy using a streamlined manufacturing process to give you Signature sound at a more affordable price.

Paiste - a tradition of innovation

Headquartered in Switzerland, Paiste meets the creative needs of drummers and percussionists with innovative cymbals, gongs, and bronze percussion instruments. Founded at the beginning of the 20th Century, Paiste lays claim to a number of cymbal firsts, including the first use of 8% bronze, the wavy-edged hi-hat bottom cymbal, the bell-less flat ride, unlathed hammered cymbals, color-coated cymbals, China cymbals with a downturned edge, and the invention of their Signature Bronze Alloy. World-class drummers such as Bill Bruford, Stewart Copeland, and Vinnie Colaiuta have long relied on Paiste cymbals to forge their signature sounds - and you can, too!

Reviews

Crystal clear, full, warm. The best crash on the market.
The Paiste signature line is the finest line of crash cymbals available. I"ve been working as a drummer for over 30 years. These cymbals are superior in almost every way as a crash cymbal. Great for rock, funk, almost any style. Full, warm, perfect decay and they will compliment your other cymbals.

Great stuff!!!!

That said, get your ride from Zildjian.
Paiste Signature Series, simply amazing!
If there were such a thing as a true jewel of a cymbal, then Paiste Signature Series cymbals would be it! These cymbals sound amazing!! I realize that taste in cymbals is quite subjective, so these might not be for everyone. As for me, I absolutely love the way these cymbals sound. They are a very musical cymbal, they are bright, clear, they have a wonderful glassy shimmer and they project beautifully. Their sound is so pure, without a lot of unwanted overtones. They are not muddy at all. They have wonderful sustain, they cut through the mix like crazy. If you like dark sounding cymbals that are not clear and bright then these might not be for you. I love the Full Crashes, they work well for my playing style. I use an 18 inch Full crash a 17 inch Full crash, a 20 inch bright ride and 14 inch sound edge high hats. These cymbals are expensive but in my opinion they"re worth the money. Some drummers complain that Paistes are not a cast cymbal and that sheet cymbals are not as good. I don"t understand that thinking at all because for me it"s all about what they sound like. And these cymbals sounds absolutely great! The best. Thanks again Sweetwater you guys are amazing!

I use a set of signature series in 21"-18" -17" and 14" hats and am quite pleased with the quality and results used in a 11ps horn band.
